Spent a day hiking in Muir Woods, which has a bunch of these little streams, falling across bridges. We ran into at least 50 of these and spent as many as 300 shots on water falls/streams. This was also one my first good attempts at doing the high-shutter speed trick with flowing water.
"A fellow by the name of Cox and I crossing the stream. Again I was unconcious of the camera as you can see."
Photographs taken by my father, Gerald Trevor Roberts in March 1942 whilst working at the RAF base in Debert, Nova Scotia.

Experimenting with Orton processing. Here's another version of the stream. As always, comments are most welcome.
I love Spring when all the wet weather streams are rolling!
Either in Taney or Stone Co, don't know where the borders are! (southwest of Branson)
This was taken on a very wet day up in Teesdale. I was hoping to get some pictures of High Force waterfall but it was just to wet. This is a little stream that runs into the Tees just after the falls and was in a bit of sheltered woodland. It was taken rather rapidly on a tripod in the rain using the recommended settings (hopefully) Hopefully I will get back there on a drier day.
