Deep East Texas.

A mesic stream bottom dominated by American beech, Southern magnolia, and other hardwood species on timber company land in East Texas. While the timber company manages the uplands for timber production, they have left healthy streamside management zones that boast a rich diversity of plants.

This stream runs down Mt. Timpanogos past the Sundance ski resort and into the Provo River.

This pleasant little stream winds it way out to the Puget Sound through Seahurst Park. I snapped this shot straddling a portion of the stream while hanging the camera down low over the water and shooting blind.

Loud roaring water gushing by.

Mountain stream near Parsons, WV. There were lots of cool clear streams in the maountains. This was near an experimental forest in the Monongahela National Forest. I thought the rock formation to the right was interesting.
