Tung Chung (東涌), meaning 'eastern stream', is an area situated on the north-western coast of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Tung Chung, currently one of the latest generation of new towns, was formerly a rural village around Tung Chung Wan, and along the delta and lower courses of Tung Chung River and Ma Wan Chung in the north-western coast of Lantau Island.
東涌(英語:Tung Chung)位於香港新界大嶼山北部,屬於離島區。包含東涌及大蠔的北大嶼山新市鎮為香港第九個新市鎮。新市鎮發展在原來的東涌墟東北面的填海土地上,以及東涌河下遊人工改道後所平整而成的土地。

I took this picture in December 2006 in Holmfirth. I thought the picture would look nice in black and white.
Nine year old Nam was our self-appointed guide as we walked up the so-called "Fairy Stream" near Mui Ne, Vietnam. He turned out to be an excellent guide, his English was great and he found each one of us a four-leaf clover
Stream cruisers are common right now - patrolling ponds and rivers, even trails in the woods. They do occasionally perch by hanging underneath small branches. They have a trademark "smile" and are big, showy Spring-fliers.
