Taken on a walk around Buttermere.

A nice place to relax after a long hike...

The picture was taken in Trenta, Slovenia at the Triglav national park.

Last year was the first time I shot this place and ever since I couldn't wait until it came back around. The flowers will likely be back within 2 weeks. This is the only stream I know that features the more colorful Catawba Rhododendron along the banks as opposed to the more white colored Rosebay or Great Rhododendron that is commonly found. This stuff goes on for miles and even up the little tributaries. Once the Catawba runs it's course up through the mountains then the spring wildflower blooming will basically be done for my area. It's been a whirlwind spring.

Be sure to view on black.

In the Smoky Mountain National Park in Tennessee

The streams are really moving after the almost non stop rain we've been having lately.

A narrow mountain canyon stream.

A welcome sight on a very hot day.

The scent by this stream in the woods is sulphur-like, like that of a match. The colour is original, not photoshopped.

A snapshot from a 'scene in the river'.. I don't see why I should use the AI tools for my art works. Occasionally, I might prompt one of them, AI bots, to draw a 'reference illustration' for me, that's it. Pictures like this one start from 'mindless doodling'. And, at some point, the consciousness gets engaged.. Free hand, free flow.. Gel pen sketch enhances digitally (no AI was involved!)

Romsey Abbey stained glass window with the sunshine streaming in on Saturday.

Did a weekend trip to Stockbridge and then onto Romsey meeting up with friends - coffee a wander around the Abbey and a few shops, then for lunch in the Olive Restaurant.

Got to recommend the steak and fries !!!

It was bustling, a 45 minute queue for a table in the main square but luckily got a table in another nearby coffee shop overlooking the square.

A walk around Lawrence Field and coming up the clough from Grindleford on a fine sunny winter's afternoon sees the waterfall at the top of the ancient woodland.

No tripod, so the trusty beanie hat was deployed.
