A stormy afternoon Pigadia Ermioni Greece.

Fortunately, the snow which began late on 19 February fell under light winds, and unlike the previous two storms, was much wetter. This helped to mitigate drifting and therefore expedite the cleanup process, though there weren't many places left to put it.

Unable to capture a lightning bolt during a storm I settled for this very dramatic look created by sheet lightning.

Documenting some of the damage caused by the November nor'easter that hit us last weekend. Here a whole section of the boardwalk was washed away in Seaside Heights.

Jun 3rd, 2009 storm brought all day lightning and strange formation of clouds. This on actually had an image of a duck head in it, above the tree. Can you see it??

Lightning Storm / Storm Lightning / Weather

 

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm look for direction on how to take better lightning pictures so tell me what I did wrong.

Every time a plow plowed across the tracks, the signals went on and the gates went down. Traffic had to stop and wait for them to go back up seconds later.
