Approaching storm - which left as quick as it came. Photo taken with an old Nikon N2000 and Kodak Portra 160 Professional Film.
Another nasty storm came through. This time thunderstorms and no tornados. We had a few hours without power with fallen trees.
My first attempts at lightning photography. Some good results, some not so good! Can't wait for the next storm.
This car didn't fair too well after a fast moving storm yesterday passed though our town. There were many damaged trees and if you happened to be under one of these...and such a nice car.

April 10th we had an awesome storm come in. It was so weird. You could look West and the sky was blue with nice white puffy clouds, East was dark and ominous and in the middle, this awesome cloud.

This was on the same day as night fell. By now the worst part of the storm had moved on but it was still spitting out a lot of lightning, so I decided to take some shots of that as well. This was the best shot I could get for the night, hence it's the one I decided to post.
Today I rode the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria and back again. The ride over was flat calm, but when I returned home in the afternoon, this storm hit...hard and fast, about a 1/2 hour before I boarded to go home
It was a "Great and Fun" ride home...Just the kind I like. The wilder, the crazier, the rougher the better.
I truly love it...when it is wild. So...it was a great ride home
