After a few requests, here is the stinkbug crease pattern. Designed and diagrammed by Jake Schenthal. Thanks to Jordan (langko) for some helps in some spots on this model :) Happy Folding!

This was first for me, I have never seen these pretty harlequin bugs before and this tree was covered in them. Its not the sharpest of shots, but he looked so pretty on this bud.
Green stink bugs have piercing mouthparts which they insert into the tomato. Then they use the tube to insert digestive juices into the tomato. They then suck out the digested tomato. This leaves a whitish area under the skin of the tomato.
By the way, stink bugs are poisonous if eaten...although I don't see how anyone could eat something that emits that sort of smell!!!

and thought of you! For my good friend, Maria, who specializes in photographing lovely buggies! When I walked into my computer room, the evening of March 19, 2017--just before the first day of Spring (my birthday!)--I was surprised to see this guy sitting on my desk! Maria, can you ID him or do you have different kinds in your area? Troy, New York, USA. I was loath to throw him out into the snow, so I relocated him to my garage.
It’s that time of year when stink bugs think they should be living inside the house. This one was on my office window back in April 2016. The ones that enter get gently picked up with a tissue and escorted back outside.

A bit ironic I guess. This is a brown marmorated stinkbug which is very common. Or so the description says. I see them all the time so...
Anyway, apparently they like milkweeds. A neighboring one was like a brothel with a few mating pairs having a darned good time. 😉
A stinkbug beats the heat in the shade of some snowberry leaves, while straddling and sipping berries.

Scutelleridae is a family of true bugs. They are commonly known as jewel bugs or metallic shield bugs due to their often brilliant coloration.
They are also known as shield-backed bugs due to the enlargement of the thoracic scutellum into a continuous shield over the abdomen and wings.
