These tiled San Francisco steps were created by 220 neighbors in Golden Gate Heights. Just one of the neatest neighborhood projects I've seen. It's a heck of a climb actually, but the detail is incredible, just a little hidden SF treasure.
Below is a little close view showing a little more detail.

At the bottom of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower. This 54 storey high skyscraper is probably the most famous building in Roppongi - finished in 2003. It is now the home to shops, offices, an art museum and restaurants. Though this part reminded me more of an Egyptian tomb than a shopping area (an association meant in the most flattering way).

Lets go back to the warmer autumn days briefly...
I visited Tarr Steps in Exmoor numerous times this autumn to get the conditions I wanted, and luckily on my last visit, as the last light faded and the rain poured I managed to capture this shot. I wanted to have the tree in the corner covered in red leaves, and being a sheltered spot, it took a long time to get to this color.

The Spanish Steps are a set of steps in Rome, Italy, climbing a steep slope between the Piazza di Spagna at the base and Piazza Trinità dei Monti, dominated by the Trinità dei Monti church at the top. (2/23/2019)
Thank goodness for our plow guys who plow and shovel our walk and stairs— worth every penny! And bless my DD who keeps up with any snow that falls between their stops. Farther north of us they got 20+ inches, so we felt lucky.

Sets of steps at Shepton Prison, the 'going up' ones were wider than the 'coming down' ones because there wasn't as much room needed to carry down a coffin.
