Steps down to Putrajaya Lake from Putra Bridge

Another view of the steps to one of the "alcoves" -- I think the main curiousity of the building was that there was little functionality behind its design. While most museums I've been to try to be less obtrusive and let the art do the talking, so to speak, this particular building was out to make a statement too. I wonder in some cases whether the building's designed hindered or complimented some of the installations.

Steps to the rock bathing pool between Whitley Bay and Cullercoats. This was the main swimming pool in Whitley Bay in olden days. If anyone has any idea or info about when it was constructed please let me know.

The Selaron Steps were created by Chilean artist Jorge Selaron as a tribute to the Brazilian people. Many of the tiles were sent to Selaron by tourists so that there are tiles from around the world. Selaron died in 2013 under suspicious circumstances.

The houses in this village are decorated with colored bands in order to keep the bad spirits out.

I found these in a few places - steps marked out to show you how to do various dances. Very cool!
