The Selaron Steps were created by Chilean artist Jorge Selaron as a tribute to the Brazilian people. Many of the tiles were sent to Selaron by tourists so that there are tiles from around the world. Selaron died in 2013 under suspicious circumstances.

(IMG_0863_to_0865_JPG_HDR.jpg): This is one of my first attempts at an HDR (High Dynamic Range) image. It came out looking very similar to the normal original image with an improved sky. I'm not trying for 'fantasy' looking HDR. I prefer more natural looking results. The HDR software used was 'Essential HDR RC1'.
The steps lead to a foot bridge over the Los Angeles River in Canoga Park, California.
