This is a museum piece, started up a few times a year for the public to see it working . I took the shot at low shutter speed. The contrast between the blurry moving parts and the sharp static parts I find interesting

This old farm steam engine body, in a field close by the the coastal path is slowly disintegrating and since I visited last it has lost its its back which creates a window through to the secenery behind. I'm very fond of this this rusty relic and make a point of taking photos of it from time to time.

The steam engines parade through town and gather at the fairgrounds during the local fall festival. At noon, they all sound their whistles.
