The Nickel Plate Road 2-8-4 Berkshire No. 765 caught at the Station Rd bridge at night.

This was taken in Bratislava, Slovakia. I was very lucky to be invited by my brother-in-law to take part in this train show. He is a Lead Engineer in restoring these steam engines.

This is one of several steam engine photographs taken by my great uncle Garnet Cross, whose father was an engine driver for Southern Railway. All the photos in this set were taken around the Southern Region, post-WW2 but perhaps some before it.

 

I would welcome any expert advice on location the picture was taken.

This looks like a replacement pilot for one of Steamtown's steam engoines.

Was going to shot some cars at the port but shot some birds as well...
