"Nein, nein ihr seid nicht mein kommunismus" – das war das beste und eindeutigestes Statement zu diesem skurrilen Aufmarsch von ca. 250 ewig gestrigen nationalkommunist_innen bei der neu aufgelegten 13 Uhr-Demo in Berlin-Neukölln. Die Organisator_innen dieser Veranstaltung sind im kommunistischen Kontext bei Stalin und Mao hängen geblieben. Die Gruppe Jugendwiderstand hat offensichtlich diese Veranstaltung organisiert und ist dementsprechend für die gesamte Choreographie verantwortlich, inklusive der grottenschlechten Rapper_innen. Bedauerlich ist es das einige junge Menschen bei diesem Politikkonzept mitmachen.

nothing is known of this & the copy i have is perhaps only fragments: this unpunctured front cover printed 2 colours & 2 sheets staple-punctured top left, both printed purple, all print by spirit duplicator ("Ditto"). the 3 poems included on those 2 sheets are Fragment, Prologue: 1335 Comox Avenue & Blues on Green, suggesting it's a very early classroom handout, somewhen probably in 1967. cover unID'd & unknown & almost certainly not by bp.
From my nighttime expedition to the Turk St. hoard for long exposure images (for my fellow amateur photographers who like cars, I've discovered that the best images are nighttime ones with timed exposures--try it). Since my first trip here two weeks ago, I've learned that the owner is a gentleman called Nick who evidently works as a cab driver, and who owns at least 15 cars. One of these days I hope to meet him. I went out of my way to be conspicuous while shooting these, but no one came to the window.
As to what we have here, in the foreground is the beautiful 58 Buick Century, now parked on the street with its 'Deluxe Fashionaire' grill visible for all to see (even though this is one of my dream cars, I wouldn't want the job of having to keep all of those little squares polished), and in the background, along with appropriate period architecture, a fellow 1958 GM offering: the Oldsmobile 88.

And that statement is I'm back! Once abundant, there have been almost no egrets at Aquatic Park since the big oil spill in the bay. Now they are starting to return.
Collaboration project with Emma, on the topic of time.
We recreated old photographs, as our statement on the passing of time. We don't know the people in the original shots, they are not family members, merely family photographs of strangers. Film photographs are disappearing in an age where everything has moved from analog to digital. And in a heroic sense, had we not saved, recreated or even scanned these shots, they would have been lost forever, eventually discarded and decomposed.
As far as minor details,
In regards to the old man shot, we felt the original shot had such of a tourist, standing by the beach, and we chose to recreate this using an italian exchange student, here to study. On the topic of time, we did not chose to find another elderly man, for time moves, changes and continues on. But never goes backwards.
Photoshop was used at parts, when needed, but nothing outrageous.
And yes, she is standing beside a log there...

Remember that foreign space object hurtling towards us at break-neck speed?
Well, the suspected comet, 3I/ATLAS, soared past Mars earlier this week, giving astronomers a closer glimpse. And now, Harvard scientist Avi Loeb has warned of the worrying reality if the object were, in fact, a hostile visitor from another planet.
The apparent space rock was first spotted back in July by a space telescope at RÃo Hurtado, Chile. It's thought to be an 'interstellar' space rock, having traveled from well beyond our solar system, and now through ours. Only two other interstellar objects have ever been identified; Oumuamua in 2017 and Borisov in 2019.
The European Space Agency (ESA) got a closer look at 3I/ATLAS as it passed Mars between 1 and 7 October. During its closest approach on 3 October, the comet was still 30 million kilometers away.
But ESA’s ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter managed to capture blurry footage showing a small white dot; the comet’s core surrounded by a cloud of gas and dust called a coma.

The National Leprechaun Museum and the SCOOP foundation joined up to give everyone (Dubliners and visitors) the chance to show off their Paddy’s Day Finery to the whole world, and set up a picture-book-photo-booth for them to get snapped in!
Entrants got snapped by our photographers on our set and then posted online… winners will be voted on by a worldwide audience! (There’s a range of categories and spot prizes to be won!)

They endeavour to raise funds through their own events and unique ideas, in order to build schools and opportunities for children and young people caught in the poverty trap in the some of the poorest and more corrupt parts of the world.
They also wish to create a different type of charity in Ireland; one that utilises young and talented people to keep creating new and positive methods to achieve their many goals and aspirations.
