< Sound City Files, Volume 1 - Chapter 4

The water poured down with a splash, sheets flowing from her body as it cleansed her body and mind. A shower. She knew the name, but this... this was far better than she expected. Not like the rain, this water made you feel clean... refreshed.

The water clicks off.

"s̷h̷o̷w̷e̷r̷ ̷c̷y̷c̷l̷e̷ ̷c̷o̷m̷p̷l̷e̷t̷e̷"

The voice startles her to jump with a verbal squeak.

"Are you okay?"

His voice calls from the other side of the door.

"I'm fine.. This... thing? just said my shower was over..."

She's standing in the shower with the unit beeping and water dripping from the shower, now off.

He lets out a hearty laugh.

"Sorry for not warning you about that, they limit us to how much water we use. Were you able to finish?"

"Mhmm"

She dries off, squeezes her hair dry, and wraps the towel around her.

"Was there anything that you found would fit me?"

"Well, yes... but... everything I own is for men... definitely not a woman your size. I still had a few things that got confiscated when I was with CorGen and I washed them, but...."

He hesitated.

"It's fine, it can't be any worse than walking around in a towel."

Her legs were covered in goosebumps, rubbing her arms to stay warm. The heat systems at this altitude weren't exactly great. She sticks her arm out the door, cracked open just enough.

"D̴͚̜͓̳͓͈̭̀̓͐͒̇͑̐͜A̴͍͚̦̘̚T̶̨̡̘̬̰̼̪̋͂̓̋̉̒̅̓͜͝A̸͉͐̆͑͊́̾̿̕͠͝ ̸͖͎͗̒ͅÇ̸̠̻̪̦͊͗͛̍̀̃͘̚͝͝Ŏ̵̡͇̻̝̝̯͖̘̌̾R̸̨̲̤͉̣̠̼̣͎͐̈́̀͌Ŗ̴̯̰̂̈̐̽̿̏̔̎̏̐Ṵ̸̪̘̘͍̦͇̜̞̮̎́̀P̵̢̡̫̗̬͍͎͠T̶̖̰̣̲͔̗̜͖͎̪͗̈́͐̎́̃͘͝ ... you didn't really think I wouldn't be expecting you... did you?"

He kicks the ground.

"You know, I didn't even go there looking for him. Nice cover, by the way. But hey, I guess it was just my lucky day right? I owed that motherfnck3r." Vinzer smiles a vicious smile filled with perfectly aligned, perfectly white, perfectly fake teeth.

The four lapdogs surrounding her are all visibly eager. She sizes each one up carefully. One to the left. One to the right. Vinzer in front, with one flanking him on each side. Prioritize close combat targets. She thinks to herself. Remeber what he taught you. Know their next three moves. Then nine. Keep going until they don't.

"Do you give them doggie treats after each mission?"

"Is this /REALLY/ all you had?"

She sighs.

He stammers.

"I... I swear. I can go to a store and find something for you right now. Just give me li-"

"No. It's... fine."

Her face feels like it's on fire. The bodysuit barely covered anything. Confiscated? Of course the confiscated box would be from a strip club. Her body can't help but react, thinking about his eyes on her.

The door opens slowly and she takes a tedious step forward. She tries to be modest, but the tiny bit of cloth covering her made that difficult.

He's sitting on the sofa, focused on the comm in his hand when he looks up to see her. The comm drops to the floor with a dull thud. He stands up slowly, almost instinctively.

The first strike is from the agent to her left. She parries with an elbow and follows it with the muzzle of her pistol right to the female agents chest.

One.

She weaves to avoid the next shot, gunfire from the agent to her right. She swings her arms over her shoulder sending two shell casings clattering as the agent slumps to the ground.

Two.

An open shot. She moves to take down Vinzer, but the slippery rat dodges behind his own teammate to use them as a shield. Good thing it was a full synthetic. Now it's about... two-thirds of one.

Three.

He walks towards her, quiet. His eyes fixed on her. Her thighs press together, as though she can feel his eyes touching everywhere he gazes.

"w-what?" Her voice is weak, why is her heart racing like this?

He just shakes his head.

"I.. you... you're beautiful."

"It's... just this outfit. You put me in something too sexy..."

Her body is aflame. It feels like fire would erupt from her every pore. Hot. Burning.

Now only inches from her, his hand reaches up and tilts her head up by the chin to meet his gaze. So tall. So strong. So... big.

She bites her lip, making it sting slightly.

He moves forward, slowly urging her back towards the wall. It's cold against her skin. Like ice, compared to how hot she feels. She slides her calf against his, wrapping her thigh around his and pressing against him.

His hands move to the straps of her bodysuit, slowly sliding them down until they go past her wrists. They're both breathing heavily, chests heaving. She musters only four words...

"Like what you see?"

A fist slams her jaw, stars dance in her head for a moment.

The last thug grabs her from behind, arm wrapped around her neck. Thunder rings in her ears. A clang. Searing pain.

"How does it feel to take a shotgun point blank? Even your suit can't stop all of the force. I should know, I helped them test the d4mn things."

Vinzer stands holding a tactical shotgun just feet away.

"ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢ, ᴄʀɪᴛɪᴄᴀʟ ꜱᴜɪᴛ ᴅᴀᴍᴀɢᴇ.

ʙɪᴏʟᴏɢɪᴄᴀʟ ᴅᴀᴍᴀɢᴇ ᴅᴇᴛᴇᴄᴛᴇᴅ:

ꜰʀᴀᴄᴛᴜʀᴇꜱ ɪɴ ʀɪʙꜱ 3, 4, 6, 7, ᴀɴᴅ 12.

ʜᴀɪʀʟɪɴᴇ ꜰʀᴀᴄᴛᴜʀᴇ ɪɴ ꜰɪʀꜱᴛ ᴛʜᴏʀᴀᴄɪᴄ ᴠᴇʀᴛᴇʙʀᴀᴇ.

ɪɴᴛᴇʀɴᴀʟ ʜᴇᴍᴏʀʀʜᴀɢɪɴɢ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴛᴏᴍᴀᴄʜ ᴀɴᴅ ᴇꜱᴏᴘʜᴀɢᴜꜱ."

The suits lecture isn't what she needed right now.

"Fnck. You."

The attack had stunned her, and now her guns were at her feet. She tugs at the thugs hold, twisting hard, and another blast roars through the streets.

The thug falls to the ground in a wet splat.

Four.

"Are you fncking serious??"

Vinzer fumes as she stumbles forward to her knees. The thug blocked most of the blast, but her back was almost numb from the pain.

She coughs. She knows now. There was never any chance of turning back. This is her judgement, and Vinzers requiem.

And not she or him could do a d4mn thing to avoid it.

Her hands slide under his shirt, the chest hair running between her fingers. His hands slide down her back, lower... lower... then lifts her up to be face to face.

She giggles softly and wraps her legs around his waist. His deep growls and firm grip send lightning through her body. His breath is warm against her chest as she runs her hands through his hair.

His scent, smooth and cool yet worn and rugged. She pulls his shirt open, buttons clatter to the floor. Feeling his bare skin against hers she leans in and bites his neck gently, letting her tongue run against his skin.

Her hands find his belt buckle and promptly release it. She moans low into his chest feeling him swell against her. He presses her hard against the wall as he drops the bodysuit to the floor.

Imposing. That's how most anyone would describe him. Few people stood taller, and her arms didn't even come close to fitting around his chest. No matter how you looked at him, he was a big man. His hands grip her hips firmly as he pulls her down until she can't go any further. She lets out a sound from her mouth she didn't even know possible. Deep, for her, and growling in ecstasy. A /very/ big man.

He lifts her to her knees by her hair. The back of his hand cracks against her mask.

"Just like good old times, right?"

His fist slams between her eyes and she falls back from the force.

Vinzer tosses a clump of blue hair to the side.

"What was it that came next? I forget... was it a kick to the stomach, or a knee to the head?"

Red mist pumps from the mask as she rolls to her back.

"Fnck it, let's go for double points." The steel toe of his shoe slams into the mask, snapping her head to the side like a whip. Silence. Darkness.

His muscles flex against her, the movements smooth, steady. Her hips roll, as his soft grunts set the rhythm. Her arms wrap under his to hold his shoulders as her legs bounce in the air.

His fingers slide along her neck, his palm pressing against her throat softly. His hand moves up, and to the back of her head while the other arm wraps her waist like a massive python. He leans back, pulling her from the wall and holds her as his arms guide her body. Faster now. She gives in completely. Her body tenses suddenly, then goes limp as she lets out a muffled moan into his neck.

Her mind races as she's filled with warmth, love. His love. Her mind reels in pleasure. Nothing ever felt more right.

She lays on the sofa relaxing, crop top and panties as usual. The door latch clicks. She checks the time.

"Welcome home!" She bounces up from the sofa and does her best to tackle the man.

"Wow. You really put the shine on her, dint ya?" Jessups voice is unmistakable.

"I did nothing of the sort." He's stern, more than usual.

When she realizes, she ducks behind a cabinet. "Hey! Why are you here??" She tries to cover herself.

"Jessup is just helping me bring up some boxes from the storeroom so I didn't have to make 2 trips." He slides the box over and stacks the one from Jessup on top. "Thanks, I'll stop by later so you can check the actuator in my knee. It's been a bit glitchy."

"Ya ya, no freebies this time." Jessup shuffles to the stairs. "Full price!"

"So what have you been up to?" He pulls her close as he shuts the cabinet door she was hiding behind.

"Well, first I went out and sold myself to EVERY guy on the block." She giggles.

"Oh really? Did you make a lot?" He squeezes her.

"Oh lots, but THEN I went and bought all of the expensive clothes I've wanted." She wiggles against him.

"Oh, then I get a fashion show?" His hands sneak lower.

"I don't need new clothes to do that for you..." She looks down and pulls the loose collar of her top off her shoulder, then looks back up to him softly biting her lips as she peers up from under her long eyelashes.

His lips press against her forehead. "So what did you really do?"

"I had an early delivery, then a commute across town to get another in the afternoon. That's about all. Also... I cleaned!" She points at the floors.

"Did said cleaning involve dancing?" He chuckles, knowing the answer.

"Duh, like I would clean and NOT dance." She slithers her body against his.

He spins her around like a ballroom dancer. "I'm glad your day was good."

"Yep! Let's celebrate!" She springs around the apartment, stopping at the sofa and leaning over the back to talk to him.

"I've been here for a month now!"

"Oh, you are absolutely correct. That most definitely /is/ reason to celebrate. So..."

The word echoes in her mind.

"Where are we going?"

They lay back on the bed, content and worn. "I'm sorry... you might need another shower..." His voice is soft from heavy breathing.

She giggles and snuggles into his chest. "Want to share one?" Her voice is seductive and low.

He pulls her close and sighs contently as a moments eternity of peace gives them a tiny taste of respite.

She lays on top of him, both sweaty and panting. "Let's leave."

"What?" He blinks, surprised by the statement, looking down into her eyes.

"Let's leave. This place. It's... rotten. Maybe if there was some order.. or even just... someone that cared. This isn't the place to start a life." She draws patterns on his chest with the tip of her finger as she lays her cheek against him.

"You know I'd go anywhere with you. Just say the word." He brushes her hair back over her ear.

"I just.... I want it to be us. Just us. No CorGen. No thugs. No more operations. What if... one day... you don't come back to me?" A tear wells in her eye and drops onto his skin.

"Ok. Fine. So..."

The word echoes in her mind.

"Where are we going?"

"... *crackle* to *krzzzzz*ie."

.

.

.

"... going to *digital noise*"

.

.

.

"You're going to DIE!"

It's warm, but cold at the same time. She's here, but everywhere also.

"... up."

.

.

.

"get*static*"

She looks where her hand should be. Nothing. Everything is white. There's nothing but... light.

"I knew you'd do something reckless." His voice comes from beside her, behind her, inside her. "You have to get up. If you don't, you're going to die."

"Am I dead?" She tries to look around but there's no left or right, up or down.

"I need you to listen. I wasn't... entirely honest with you. That place... where they kept you. It wasn't just a place to torture you. They did things. Horrible things. Vinzer was taking young girls from the streets and using implants to force them to do what he wanted. Murder, robbery, and... other things. But you... nothing they did would break you. I couldn't do it any more. Chasing you down, dragging you back to that place. Your screams..."

He looks away.

"I left his crew, and the moment I could come get you... I did."

"Why?" She wants to cry. "Why did you lie to me?"

"I didn't want to force you to remember. Any of it. It was wrong. Can you forgive me?"

His words are soft.

"I love you." Her response comes without any will of her own.

"I can't make it right, but I can help you... one more time. All of the VES suits, they're modeled after you. You were subject #000. When I worked on your suit, I linked it to your neural implant..."

His explanation makes little sense.

Her mind interrupts. "You're dead."

"Well, yes... technically. And... technically, so are you." His voice doesn't waver.

"Dead?" She questions.

"Yes. For now." He sighs. "All done. I love you. You don't have to do this. Please. Get out of there. Run. Don't look back. Forget me. Forget the city. Be free. I'll always be watching you, my love."

The white fades to gray. "I love you. My light." Her thought sends vibrations through her reality, shattering it to nothingness. Dark. Quiet.

The apartment is pitch black, the only sound the rain pattering against the windows.

Quiet. Dark.

"D̴̀̓A̴͍̚T̶̋͂A̸͐͠ ̸͗̒C̸͊͘Ŏ̵̌R̸͐̈́R̴̂̈U̸̎́P̵̢͠T̶͗͘???" She calls for him. Silence. Her eyes adjust, and she sees the apartment in shambles.

"D̴̀̓A̴͍̚T̶̋͂A̸͐͠ ̸͗̒C̸͊͘Ŏ̵̌R̸͐̈́R̴̂̈U̸̎́P̵̢͠T̶͗͘?!?!?!?!?!" She calls out again, and again... silence. She flicks the lights, nothing.

She uses the light of her comm to look around frantically. Calling his name, over and over. As she turns the corner to their bedroom she falls to her knees.

Her hands shake as she reaches for his... Cold. She screams in pain. It's so dark. So cold. She can't see his light.

She drags herself close to his still body and lays her head on his chest. "You can't go... you can't leave me..."

The door bangs open suddenly and Jessup rushes in carrying a flashlight. "Is everyone alright? I heard a screa-" He stops abruptly as he sees her. "Oh fnck..."

She turns towards Jessup, eyes cold as the oceans depths. "Jessup..." Tears stream down her face. "My light..." The words barely escape her lips.

"They took him from me."

😭😭😭😭😭*kicks and punches at the air* Go get em! RAWR!! lol

I love how this shot came out. I always proof my photos before I post them, andthis one was just sooo much fun. I took a backdrop, modified it for use in the city, then used it as a more elaborate backdrop. I think there's probably about 150 lights in that shot. Seriously. There's definitely thousands of particles. I know everyone I've shown previews to has been really amped up about it! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did taking it!

Only a couple of chapters left.... are you ready?

EDIT: I'm sorry about the formatting. Flickr feels that they should modify what you enter. I'm not sure why... but they do. I also can't use anything to format it more properly since they ignore or remove the formatting. Please reach out if you know of a way to keep formatting when I post descriptions. Thanks! :)

Lamborghini Aventador Roadster with 50th anniversario kit - Downtown Chicago, IL

stencil is 3ft in height

The size of a 40.000 year old tooth from the Denisova cave indicates a very tall individual, and artefacts found tell about

an unbelievable modern technology - including high speed drilling. The first kings of Egypt were called Gods, but they lived with the people and helped them to develop their civilisation. Many of the granite and basalt artefacts found in Egypt can only have been done by high speed drilling. Were these divine kings in fact Denisova hominins? Did they underestimate how fragile the eco-balance of our environment is, did they trigger a worldwide catastrophe that "capsized" the Earth and wiped them out?

Remnants of a previously unknown hominin, distinct from both early modern humans and Neanderthals,

were a few years ago found in the Denisova cave of southern Siberia: Denisova hominins. The bones and also artefacts excavated at the same level were carbon dated to around 40.000 BP. The scientists say these Denisovans had "modern technology and ornaments, including a very beautiful bracelet". Our archaic cousins the Denisova Hominins

A catastrophe in form of a flood that, according to the legends wiped out the Egyptian civilization that was developed by divine kings (Gods), shall have taken place more than 30.000 years ago. The finger bone, the large tooth and the artefacts found in the Denisova cave in the north-east Altai Mountains region are also dated to be more than 30.000 years old. The small bone belonged to a very young girl. A small bracelet of polished stone was also found, and since it was found in the same layer and dated to the same age; it might have belonged to her.

We can only speculate why the young girl was in the cave. Could it be that she was seeking shelter from a coming catastrophe, might be brought there by her mother or father? Or that she was washed into the cave by the raging wave of a tsunami - even if the cave today is 600 meters above sea level?

It seems that the first rulers of Egypt had a technology that was even more advanced than we have today; we are in fact unable to replicate many of the artefacts found. And it still is an open question how they managed to construct the Great Pyramid with its incredible precision and up to 70 ton's stones.

The archaeologists say that the ancient Egyptians used simple tools like bronze chisels and stone hammers but many of the items found, like basalt jars and also the so called sarcophagus in the Great Pyramid, cannot be made without high speed drilling with drill-bits harder than basalt and granite. The artefacts found in the Denisova cave, the bracelet with pendant, the eyed needles and other ornaments, also witness of a superior technology - and believe it or not: They had used hight speed drilling!

Not us homo sapien sapien

We do not know how the Denisova hominines looked but as mentioned: A tooth found in the cave was very large, so they might have been very tall. We know that people in the area surrounding the Altai Mountains in the 6th to 3rd centuries BC had a very advanced technology; a race of white skinned, blond, blue eyed and very tall people with Caucasian features and long skulls.

The divine kings, the "Gods", of Egypt were often depicted as white skinned, blond, blue eyed and very tall people with Caucasian features and a long skull. Were the "Gods" of the ancient Egyptian king-lists in fact Denisovans? Not us homo sapien sapien but our archaic cousins the Denisova Hominins?

We do not yet know what the Denisova hominins looked like but a Denisovan tooth found in the cave is the largest archaic homo species tooth found. Were the Denisovans the giants of the legends all over the world? Where they the first kings of Egypt - the divine Pharaohs? Did they have an advanced technology that later got lost, might be together with the Denisovans themselves, in a world wide catastrophe?

Global warming

Professor Gregory Ryskin at Northwestern University in Illinois, USA, has found that the long-term changes in the Earth's main magnetic field are possibly induced by our oceans' circulation. We know that global warming already has raised the temperatures of the oceans of the world and some scientists have proposed that this could disrupt thermohaline circulation (THC), which is a massive, worldwide system of ocean currents. We have already seen a change in some ocean currents, so a change in our Earth's magnetic field might already be happening! Might be this is why our magnetic poles are moving much more rapid than before! Scary stuff - because this could also mean a change in the Earth's gravity - and changes in gravitational forces will certainly affect the tectonic plates and with the continents on them. Might be this is the reason why we also experience more earthquakes than before?! Might be we should take Hapgood's conclusions and Heyerdahl's warning serious?

Did the Egyptian "capsize" the world - did they have technologies that could contribute to a sudden and rapid polar change? Might be because of and a change in the Earths gravity and/or magnetic field? Well, some say that the ancient Egyptians used the pyramids to create a unique form of energy. That they by paying special attention to celestial events, they could have used natural forces like static electricity, the Earth's magnetic field, and lightning.

Electric phenomenon

Sir William Seimens, a famous German born English inventor, travelled to Egypt and visited the Great Pyramid. While they were standing on the top, the guide remarked that when he raised his hand with his fingers spread, it caused an intense ringing noise in his ears. Sir William ventured a few tests, one by raising his arm with his index finger pointing, which he claimed caused a prickling sensation. He then drank some wine from a metallic cup which gave him a distinct shock. He was convinced he was witnessing some sort of electric phenomenon and instantly put this to the test by assembling a makeshift Leyden Jar, an apparatus for the storage of static electricity, by wrapping moistened newspaper around the wine bottle. The static charge at the peak of the pyramid was so high that sparks began to stream from the bottle. The guide was so shocked that he accused Sir William of witchcraft and tried to grab the bottle, but an electrical jolt knocked him unconscious.

A power plant?

Master craftsman and engineer Christopher Dunn argues that based on his measurements of Egyptian monuments, ancient stonecutting achieved a high-precision accuracy surpassing modern accuracy standards in building. He asked himself what was the power source that fuelled such a civilization and after twenty years of research, Dunn reveals that the Great Pyramid of Giza was actually a electrical power plant. Based on the technology of harmonic resonance, he claims that the pyramid was a large acoustical device! By its size and dimensions, this crystal edifice created a harmonic resonance with the Earth and converted Earth's vibrational energies to microwave radiation. He shows in his books and articles how the pyramid's numerous chambers and passageways were positioned with the deliberate precision to maximize its acoustical qualities.

Inventor Michael F. Praamsma partly agrees but he says that the Great Pyramid at Giza was "a sophisticated acoustical sound chamber that was used as a technique to generate natural sounds to create an elevated frequency environment confined to a single resonant physical cavity". He claims that the Great Pyramid was systematically and competently sealed, and that this was "a sign it was decommissioned and intended to be of use again at a future day, when the awakened humanity would restore it competently to its rightful function, unfortunately history went another way."

A California researcher, Peter Grandics, has shown how an antenna, modeled on the Great Pyramid of Giza, can transfer the power of atmospheric electrostatic discharge impulses into a resonant circuit that converts the random impulses into an alternating current as a potential source of renewable electric power. Thousands of terawatts of power are generated in the troposphere by thunderstorms and a pyramidal structure, with its optimal geometry and construction, can act as a suitable charge sink, capturing this electric.

A biological engineer named John Burke argues that the movement of underground water in limestone aquifers below monuments produces an electric current via friction and the rich magnetic dolomite content of the stone. Burke measured positive ground current at Silbury hill in England, an ancient pyramidal mound composed of chalk and clay that lies on top of such limestone bedrock riddled with zig zagging aquifers filled with rainwater. Such tunnels and water caverns lie beneath the Giza plateau as well. Abd'El Hakim Awyan, a native Egyptian archaeologist, attests to swimming in such tunnels during his youth on the Giza plateau.

Electric torches?

Another alternative theory is that the pyramids were wireless power plants used to generate electricity and for wireless communication. On the internet you will find a video where it is speculated that the Great Pyramid may have been powered by the Ark of the Covenant. The person behind the video is saying that murals inside tombs and temples show that the ancient Egyptians were using handheld electric torches powered by cable free power sources. It is believed that the so called sarcophagus inside the Great Pyramid has the exact dimensions, according to the Christian bible, to house the Ark of Covenant: That the pyramid with a capstone of gold and the covenant in place was a kind of super capacitor the could produce and store electric energy. It is also theorized that Moses stole the Ark of Covenant from the pyramid and took it with him out of Egypt. This should be the main reason for the downfall of the Egyptian pharaohs; without the electrics power their own power dwindled. This should have happened at the time of the pharaoh Ramses II.

Three engineers; Erica Miller, Sean Sloan and Gregg Wilson all agree on one theory: That the Great Pyramid acted as a huge nuclear breeder reactor, which produced Plutonium fuel by mediating uranium isotopes in water. Supposedly, the King's Chamber was flooded with a water pump, and the sarcophagus was packed with uranium ore.

Frenchman Antoine Bovis stumbled upon dead cats and mice that had been disposed of in the trash cans inside the Great Pyramid, and they were perfectly mummified - apparently automatically, without putrefying or giving off a stench. When Bovis returned to France he built a scale model of Khufu's monument, deposited a dead cat inside - and the Giza phenomenon repeated itself, the cat mummified without rotting. Karl Drbal of Czechoslovakia researched this further and said that this was due to the pyramid's special cavity that resonated with cosmic microwaves concentrated in the earth's magnetic field. He also hypothesized that the same concept would work for rusted shavers, and claimed the sharpness of the tools returned after lacing them in a scale model of the pyramid. Stanford Research Institute, however, carrying out experiments in the Great Pyramid, and found that biological samples deteriorated at normal rates within the structure.

Energy grid

Some researchers say that it not by chance that the Great Pyramid was built where it was. They propose that the Earth has a planetary energetic grid that operates through geometric patterns called Sacred Geometry. Grids meet at various intersecting points forming a grid or matrix. These grid points shall be found at some of the strongest power places on the planet. A planetary grid map outlined by the Russian team of Goncharov, Morozov and Makarov has an overall organization anchored to the north and south axial poles and the Great Pyramid at Giza.

It is said that the ancient people, including the Egyptians, knew that wherever the earth's energy gathered into a vortex was a sacred place. Very simular is the theory that the Earth has as net of electromagnetic lines, and that the intersecting points of the network, the knots, are influenced by underground veins of water as well as magnetic forces emanating naturally from the Earth. The ancient Egyptians are said to have been able to move and/or anchor the energy lines by pushing metal rods into the ground before they built a temple or pyramid - they shall have called it "piercing the snake".

Also what is called lay lines seems to be connected to an ancient grid of a form. According to Wikipedia; "Ley lines are hypothetical alignments of a number of places of geographical interest, such as ancient monuments and megaliths." Archaeologists have documented that the alignments are existing but it is not proved that the ley lines and their intersection points resonate a special psychic or magical energy or that they have electrical or magnetic forces as some writers claim.

Pyramid fortex using a Tesla coil

In addition to all this it is also said that we have high energy spots on the Earth called vortices - and they shall be linked ley lines. A Vortex (plural: vortices) is usually a spinning, often turbulent, flow of fluid but some also include a kind of spinning Earth energy due to its electromagnetic field. Such vortices can be volcanoes, high mountains, hot springs, mineral deposits, deep gorges, rock outcroppings and even in deserts like the Sinai. Ancient sites can also be vortices, like the pyramids of Egypt. Dr. Dee J. Nelson has taken a so called Kirlian photograph of energy spiralling out of the top of a pyramid using a Tesla Coil.

Nikola Tesla - Earthquake Machine

The Tesla Coil was invented by Serbian-American engineer Nikola Tesla (1856 - 1943), one of history's greatest scientists. His coil is an electrical resonant transformer circuit, used to produce high-voltage, low-current, and high frequency alternating-current electricity. Yes, he is best known for inventing the alternating electrical current (AC) used all over the world today, but his patents and theoretical work helped form the basis for radio comunication and many other inventions.

Nikola Tesla was an electrical genius, but he also was responsible for a number of mechanical devices. One of these was his "Earthquake Machine" also known as the Tesla Oscillator. The machine which Tesla tested was no larger than an alarm clock but it is said that when he started to twiddle the machine's frequency-controller in his lab: blocks around chaos reigned as objects fell off shelves, furniture moved across floors, windows shattered, and pipes broke. When the police arrived they found the inventor smashing the resonator to bits with a hammer: "Gentlemen, I am sorry. You are just a trifle too late to witness my experiment. I found it necessary to stop it suddenly and unexpectedly in an unusual way, he said calmly to the astonished officers.

Tesla was convinced that by finding the correct frequency, any structure can be destroyed (an obvious example is the wine glass shattered by an opera singer). He later told a friend that he could split the Earth with one of these devices: "I could set the earth's crust into such a state of vibration that it would rise and fall hundreds of feet, throwing rivers out of their beds, wrecking buildings, and practically destroying civilization".

Tesla and coils

Tesla claimed that the laws of electromagnetics were connected to gravity, and one of his patents was on a flying machine without wings or propellers but based on what he called electrogravitics. Tesla also was working on a generator that basically worked by harnessing the electricity from the air and the ground. He used the natural conductivity of limestone aquifers to generate electrical power. The power ran up the ground into the Tesla coil tower above, which in theory should channel wirelessly transmitted power over great distances. Since Telsa wanted the distribution of the energy to be free, the inventor's sponsor pulled out from funding the scientist's machine before it was completed. Tesla died a poor and disillusioned man.

His research station for transmitting power at Colorado Springs might have a link to the Great Pyramid - a notable harmonic association between the latitude positions of both sites. Coral Castle - 9-ton gate that moves with just a touch of the finger.

Edward Leedskalnin - Coral Castle

Another person that was interested in gravity and electromagnetism was Edward Leedskalnin (1887-1951) - an eccentric Latvian emigrant to the United States. He built the extraordinary monument known as Coral Castle in Florida. Leedskalnin single-handedly and secretly carved and displayed over 1,100 tons of coral rock, the heaviest stone weighing 35 tons. It is a mystery how the tiny man could move all the heavy stones. He claimed to have discovered the secrets of the pyramids, and had found out how the Egyptians and the ancient builders in Peru, Yucatan, and Asia, with only primitive tools, raised and set in place blocks of stone weighing many tons! But he did not want to show

"I have discovered the secrets of the pyramids, and have found out how the Egyptians and the ancient builders in Peru, Yucatan, and Asia, with only primitive tools, raised and set in place blocks of stone weighing many tons!"

- Edward Leedskalninanybody how it was done and worked mostly at night-time. A group of young witnesses claimed to see coral blocks floating through the air "like hydrogen balloons" and another time one of Ed's neighbours found him singing to the stones with his hands placed on their surface as if he were somehow making them lighter.

Ed Leedskalnin disputed contemporary science and believed that "all matter consists of magnets which can produce measurable phenomena, and electricity." Ed would say he had "re-discovered the laws of weight, measurement, and leverage," and that these concepts "involved the relationship of the Earth to celestial alignments."

Researchers have speculated that Ed Leedskalnin learned the secret of levitation and one theory in particular caught the imagination of many. The planetary grid hypothesis postulates that the earth is covered by an invisible web of energy which is concentrated at points of telluric power, the convergence of which create unusual phenomena. Leedskalnin moved the complex from Florida City to Homestead and some suggest this was because Ed realized he had made a mathematical error in his original positioning and moved to an area with greater telluric force.

The famed American psychic Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) said during his readings that the Great Pyramid "was erected by the application of those universal laws and forces of nature which cause iron to float. By the same laws, gravity may be overcome, or neutralized, and stone made to float in air. The Pyramid was thus built by levitation, abetted by song and chanting". He also said that the Great Pyramid was built was built as a hall of initiation around 10,500BC by those who originally came from the civilization of Atlantis.

Levitation by sound

Metal rods that caused the stone to levitate

The current estimates of mainstream science contends that it took a workforce of 4,000 to 5,000 men 20 years to build the Great Pyramid using ropes, pulleys, ramps, ingenuity and brute force. But the 10th century Arab historian, Abul Hasan Ali Al-Masudi had written a 30-volume history of the world and he wrote about how the great stone blocks of the pyramid were transported. First, he said, a "magic papyrus" was placed under the stone to be moved. Then the stone was struck with a metal rod that caused the stone to levitate and move along a path paved with stones and fenced on either side by metal poles. The stone would travel along the path, wrote Al-Masudi, for a distance of about 50 meters and then settle to the ground. The process would then be repeated until the builders had the stone where they wanted it.

An ancient legend tells that The Great Pyramid was built from year 10,490 to 10,390 B.C. That the god Ra made studies of the terrain and took great care in figuring the geometrical location in relation to the Sphinx and the four cardinal points of the compass. The Pyramid was then built by levitation, abetted by song and chanting.

Well, we do not have any proof that the ancient Egyptians could make the huge stones fly through the air but levitation is no longer only a party-trick by magicians with quick fingers. We have high speed trains that levitate by the help of magnetic power and in an incredible move for modern medicine; scientists are using sound waves to help levitate droplets of drugs to make them with less side effects.

A kind of Swiss knife

The Great Pyramid is very different to other pyramids, in Giza or else. Most alternative researches conclude that it was some kind of machine; most possibly a power station. We have seen that it would be impossible to use the Great Pyramid as a tomb for a pharaoh and that dating of seashell tells that it much older than the other pyramids. The nearby sphinx has been re-dated to be at least 5000 years old because of the erosion from water, but it might be much older. The same will go for the Great Pyramid. Some speculate that the Great Pyramid was a kind of Swiss knife - a gigantic multipurpose tool. The world "pyramid" means "fire in the middle" - so if it was a kind of power station with the power source situated in what is called Khufu's sarcophagus the some researches in one way might be correct when that speculate that the pyramid also was built as a gigantic ram water pump - inside the base of the pyramid. Yes, it could have been a power-station with a water cooling system! We have seen that some say that the power source was the ark of covenant from the Christian bible and some say

The King's Chamber with the stones above

King's Chamber and large stones

that Moses was the person who stole it from the pyramid. That the pharaohs' rapid decline took place because with no more energy, in form of electric power, then their advanced civilisation could no longer exist!

A gigantic Tesla coil?

Or might be the Great Pyramid was a kind of a gigantic Tesla coil? That the huge granite stones, highly polished on the underside and placed above the so called Kings chamber, made it possible to harness electricity from the ionosphere - just like Nikola Tesla wanted to do it?

About 20 minutes drive from the Great Pyramid is the site of Abu Ghurab, the "Place of Osiris". The ruined stepped pyramid once had an alabaster platform on the top and on the platform it had been standing an obelisk ("sun stick"); most likely, the total height was between fifty and seventy meters. It had looked like a pyramid with a flat top, just like Great Pyramid! Is it possible that the Great Pyramid once had an obelisk standing on it's flat top - and not a capstone? The legends says that spirit of the sun god entered the obelisks at certain periods…

Could it have been like this - an obelisk on top of the Great Pyramid?

Can it have been like this?

Tesla viewed the Earth as a negative electric pole and the sun as a positive pole of an electrode; so an obelisk standing on top of a pyramid would to him be a solar-electric diode! If the under ground part of the pyramid was a pump that brought water up to the Kings Chamber then we would have a capacitor with a very good earth ground. Yes, the Great Pyramid could have been an extremely powerful kind of solar-panel!

Might be Tesla got the idea of harnessing the ionosphere from the Egyptians? Might be they had made the strongest power station ever but that something went terribly wrong; a technical fault or a construction-fault? Or might be extra strong solar activity? Stephen A. Reynods of New Zealand has done research showing that changes in the ionosphere caused by strong solar activity can cause changes in the Earth's internal magnetic field and through telluric current induced in the Earth's crust trigger earthquakes. So might be it happened that instead of harnessing high voltage that could be stored and used, the pyramid send the current into the ground and

The God Ptah with a Djed pillar

Ptah and pillar

triggered a gigantic earthquake that literally shook the whole Earth and caused geological catastrophes worldwide? Might be the changes to the internal magnetic field was so fast and so strong that the outer crust slipped - just like professor Charles H. Hapgood once suggested (but not due to imbalance of the polar ice)?

Interesting enough; one of the oldest and most important symbols to the ancient Egyptian was the "Djed Pillar". Take a look at the image to the right of the God Ptah holding a Djed pillar. The pillar looks very simular til the set-up of the stones above the Kings Chamber - and also a homemade Tesla coil! You might also have noticed a Djed pillar in picture of what could illustrate an electric lamp in an ancient Egyptian temple, higher up in the article!

Very advanced technology

In the Palermo, Turin and Manetho king lists, there are names of eight god kings that ruled Egypt in the beginning; Ptah, Ra, Geb, Osiris, Set, Horus, Thoth and the female god Ma'at. Even if they sometimes were represented in a variety of forms on murals, often with human body and animals/birds heads, these gods seemed to be something else than imaginary gods living in a theological heaven. They lived on earth, were married with children, and had duties they performed. They also helped the ordinary people to develop. We have seen that Ptah made the Nile-delta liveable after the great flood and Thoth is credited as the author of all works of science, religion, philosophy as well as magic and he is said to have been married with the female god and ruler Ma'at.

Pharaoh Can it be that the first kings of Egypt were called Gods because they came from a far away place and looked a bit different to the other humans in ancient Egypt? The word "God" comes from "shining/bright" and murals picturing the first pharaohs/gods show that they had so white skin that the must have looked very bright compared to other people! Were they also called devine because they had much better mental capabilities and a very advanced technology?

Dendera light

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The dendera light

The dendera light is a motif in the Hathor temple at Dendera in Egypt. A fringe theory interpretation of the reliefs is that they depict some form of ancient Egyptian lighting technology, similar to an arc lamp or cathode ray tube.

The temple contains several reliefs depicting Harsomtus, in the form of a snake, emerging from a lotus flower which is usually attached to the bow of a barge. The so-called dendera light is a variation of this motif, showing Harsomtus in an oval container called hn, which might represent the womb of Nut.[1][2][3] Sometimes a djed pillar supports the snake or the container. A closely related motif is "god resting on the lotus flower".

Fringe interpretation

In contrast to the mainstream interpretation, a fringe theory proposes that the reliefs depict Ancient Egyptian technology, based on comparison to similar modern devices (such as a Cathode-ray tube, Geissler tubes, Crookes tubes, and arc lamps). J. N. Lockyer's passing reference to a colleague's humorous suggestion that electric lamps would explain the absence of lampblack deposits in the tombs has sometimes been forwarded as an argument supporting this particular interpretation (another argument being made is the use of a system of reflective mirrors).[4] Proponents of this interpretation have also used a text referring to "high poles covered with copper plates" to argue this,[5] but Bolko Stern has written in detail explaining why the copper-covered tops of poles (which were lower than the associated pylons) do not relate to electricity or lightning, pointing out that no evidence of anything used to manipulate electricity had been found in Egypt and that this was a magical and not a technical installation.[6]

Archaeologist and debunker Kenneth Feder argued that if ancient Egyptians really had such advanced technology, some light bulb remains (glass shards, metal sockets, filaments...) should have been discovered during archaeological excavations. By applying Occam's razor, he instead highlighted the feasibility of the aforementioned reflective mirrors system, and also that the notion of adding salt to torches to minimize lampblack was well known by ancient Egyptians.[7]

The ancient Egyptian Dendera Light "protective magical energy in liquid form" is the evaporative cooling fog. The fact that the Dendera Light is made of liquid water that transforms itself in a magical way, is exactly what are describing ancient Egyptians themselves : [About the snake inside the Dendera Light Bulb] "The field surrounding Ra’s snake form is referred to in ancient Egyptian literature as protective magical energy in liquid form that all gods and pharaohs possess (Faulkner 1970*)." ahotcupofjoe.net/2016/11/dendera-light-bulb-and-bagdad-ba...

Evaporative cooling for the sodium carbonate manufacturing

My study is based on 2 key elements : the first one is the cold production inside the horizontal passage of the Great Pyramid ; and the second one is the production of sodium carbonate (pure natron), as suggested by the Red Pyramid.

The ammonia still present inside the Red Pyramid, indicates that they were using a sodium carbonate process identical or very close to the ammonia-soda process known as the Solvay process, developed into its modern form in the 1860s in Europe.

In the Solvay process, the ammonia only has a minor role ; but inside the Red Pyramid, my guess is that they didn't control the temperature of the different chemical reactions inside the Solvay towers. They couldn't cool down the towers.

That is the reason why they engineered the visible part of the Great Pyramid : to produce cold inside the horizontal passage, store it inside the Queen's chamber, and transfer it to the sodium carbonate production towers, passing through the Queen's chamber shafts.

In this photo Margaret C was on a mission. We all need to be on a mission from time to time. With her athleticism she mounted on the 5 ft high cement obstacle with the US Capitol behind her, she turned to look at it, looked back at me and seemed exhilarated. I proposed a rare posed shot, envisioning her representing strength, determination, and the ability to surmount any obstacle. Well, she took if from there and struck the pose and I took the shot. Empty Garage Series

I drove out southwest of town and past a lot of repaired flood destruction on Oxford Road west of Niwot past their cemetery. I caught this well west from the cemetery and Haystack, a pointy hill that always leaves me wondering. In this shot, NOAA Table Mountain is in the background with government experiment stations atop. I don't suppose any of the experiments trickled over the hill and wiped out this farm. This does not look like it happened overnight. This is certainly NFL - not for long. It looks like someone set up a slab of cottonwood trunk for axe throwing practice.

Although still in September and suffering August heat, I'd say summer grasses were done but the cottonwoods and shrubs are still green. It often seems agricultural has been sucked from this area. Fortunately, we can buy food from the Sam n' Ella's farm in Mexico. The area is learning how valuable water in the west really is but have yet to learn the true value of watered land and soil that doesn't need paving.

Strangely, we had a summer that was closer to normal, if high in humidity, but I don't think ignoring climate change or pumping petroleum will make rougher weather go away. This was a summer that was hotter than any on record. This August was hotter then any on record. This September was the hottest on record, all set world wide. perhaps you see a trend. That is at least until the looming petroleum wars are settled and the Koch Brothers and their political tea purchases are put away in their place. Until then CO2 levels in the atmosphere which are at an 850 million year high, will not be turned around. Actually, anti-fracking proposals passed in Colorado.

From Leslie A. Deer's artist statement:

"Cultural Interruption" speaks about the U.S. government's assimilation policies and efforts to systematically remove Mvskoke culture from our people. I am a product of these systematic disruptions. The piece/installation reflects three transparent panels with three generations of my family on them. The first panel, (farthest back) has images of my Mvskoke grandparents, who spoke Mvskoke language exclusively. The image os my Grandparents is solid and strong indicating the depth of their knowledge of Mvskoke language and culture.

The second panel (center panel) has images of my mother, Mildred Phillips Ketcheshawno, who, as a young child, spoke only Mvskoke language. At the age of five, my mom was forcibly removed from her family by the federal government and placed in boarding school, where she was forbidden to speak her Native language. Consequently, over time, she completely forgot the Mvskoke language and tried to relearn the language as an adult (after taking Mvskoke language lessons). Ideally, she should have been able to teach me the language from birth, but the boarding school (and urban "Relocation" program--both US Federal Programs designed to acculturate Native American peoples) experience interrupted that organic/natural teaching and learning process.

I guess judging such a statement will be subjective and we have all grown to appreciate our fish supper cooked in a slightly different manner. Whitby alone is full of excellent fish and chips restaurants, so judging the UK's best would be quite a task. The Magpie Cafe, in Whitby does rightly have a great reputation and has been enhanced through recommendations from various TV chefs like James Martin.

As a building it has stood opposite the quayside since 1750 and was used for a good period of time as a whalers office. Those days are of course long gone and fish and chips have been sold since 1940.

As can be seen this view was taken first thing when the town was empty. Anyone visiting later in the day would expect to see a great queue for both the restaurant and take away. I guess Covid restrictions will mean that bookings are now essential so that a will remove the restaurant queue.

Here 's a link for what I felt were the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. The location may surprise you.

performance, ± 6 min. (with performativity(?) prolonged to 3 hrs)

For the pahmphlet i was stuck by this sentence within the assignment "a radical message in a radical way." So i first thought about what a radical way was. I believe this is when it's unerasable. So i was thinking about writing with lipstick on some white walls in the school and what not. Then it developped in being an unerasable image in peoples minds. Or maybe what wpuld.ignite the most reaction.

As i did a naked performance once in school, and some were kind of crossed by that. And i knew that my breasts evoked this same kind of reaction on people, both on social media, in public and even under a shirt without bra, i wanted to do something with the ridicoulousness of this given. Especially nipples being censured as breasts are over sexualized and the increasing prudishness of society, which is especially taken out on female bodies, i wanted to question the radicality of my flesh. Is this radical enough for you? Is it radical at all? Police sure did thought so.

With writing variations of this question on my breats until covered, I state that breasts shouldn't be so radical - which apparently was quite a radical message an sich.

Artist's Statement

My work is an attempt to give voice to inner psychological and/or spiritual states of being. What is of primary importance to me is that the figures contain particular aspects of humanity which they can mirror back to the viewer. It's the vulnerability of Humanity I am after. That is one reason for choosing very old or very young subjects. They both can portray innocence as well as extreme complexity.

Often they seem best portrayed as dolls. This can remove them one step from being so literal yet still allow the psychological weight. Perhaps that is something not noticed immediately yet allows the viewer easier access. To myself I can muse about the viewers engagement with them as dolls however It is the felt response I am after in every case.

"That was a no, was it?" Pitt finished, dressed in Cluemaster's orange jumpsuit, a yellow scarf around his neck.

'I wouldn't have thought it, but Brad does play a good Cluemaster,' Gar admitted, as he turned a dial on the console.

At the side, Booker stood mouthing his counterpart's closing words.

"A very polite one, but yes."

The director rose from his chair, running his hand through his hair. "Not bad people, great work! We'll resume after lunch."

Gar nodded, removing his headset. 'Beats working for Billings, that's for sure,' he murmured, as he made a beeline for the breakroom.

"Actually-" the director called out, "Gar, can I talk to you for a minute? I brought in a construction consultant- bit of a mouthful I know, hah. I was hoping you'd give the 101 tour, the basic lay of the land."

"Oh, uh, sure," Gar said, as he zipped his jacket up.

"Great! She'll be here in a few minutes, ok. I'll send her to you."

===My Alibi. Years Ago===

Gar opened the door with a rusty creak, taking particular notice of the sign in the front window. "Private Function."

Assembled around a round table of sorts (simply several stools pushed together) were the Misfits. As the rest of the group joked about with each other, Drury, sitting at the far end, sat fiddling with his engagement ring. *His* engagement ring. Didn't even feel real. As Chuck nudged his elbow to get his attention, his eyes lit up.

"Gar! Did you see the suits I ordered?" he yelled out cheerfully.

"Yeah, they're... colourful. You, uh, seem excited," Gar noted, scratching a patch of dry skin on his neck.

"Love them! Got the bridesmaids in mellow yellow, but us lads, the OGs, we've got purple... Nothing, uh, nothing rhymes with purple, but you get my point," Drury smiled bashfully.

"Uh, sure."

"We get to pick our own logos, right?" Chuck chimed in. "For the breast pocket."

"Oh, aye, custom made. Whatever kites, calendars or flames that take your fancy. C'mon, sit down, sit down," Drury continued, as he grabbed another stool for Gar. He didn't sit down.

"Christ, Drury, you don't even have a date set," Wist gasped, a tad off put by his enthusiasm.

"We can't all elope in Vegas, Dave," Drury chuckled.

"Ha! You'd think he'd priotise that. Fortunately," Julian began. "He has me." He continued, now turning to Drury. "Now, I know you'll want to do it on Valentine's Day, all aspiring couples do, but it's cliché. Think of all the other potential holidays. Father's Day, Mother's Day-"

"Oh, I dunno, I heard Maxie Zeus made a booking then," Blake smirked.

"An Oedipus joke, Blake? Didn't know you could read..." Fiasco murmured, handing him their next round of drinks.

"Oddie who?"

"Look," Gar growled. "I just came by to let you know... Don't worry about a plus one."

Drury frowned, and turned to the group. "... Guys, give us a minute, will ya?"

"Sure thing, Drury, see you in five," Chuck nodded, as he led the group out, the wind slamming the door shut behind them.

The duo were quiet for a minute, until Drury looked up from the table, lowering his voice. "Clair said no?"

"I didn't ask."

"Gar-" he began, resting his head in his hands, exasperated.

Gar sighed, taking his gloves off, rolling up his sleeves and pointing to his face, exposing his burn marks. "How could I, looking like this Dru?"

"I-" Drury stammered, lost for words.

"Just... give it to Blake will ya?" he groaned. "I heard he's been collecting them anyway. Something about a harem, I don't know."

Drury shook his head. "Yeah, no, that's not happening. Blake, well... He's a predator."

...

Gar's jaw opened in disgust. "*Shit.*"

"Not like that!" he added hastily. "Well, a little like *ahem* He likes to hunt, is what I meant."

'You're not helping his case," Gar smirked, as he slid onto a stool.

"I don't exactly want to!" Drury stammered back, the two of them now laughing together. As the laughter fades, Drury slides a beer along the makeshift tables and Gar catches it, the duo sipping their drinks quietly. "You'll find someone, Gar, I know it."

"Oh, yeah?" Gar sipped. "What makes you so sure?"

"Easy. I did."

"You, my friend," Gar said, "still have a face."

"Ach, well-"

"Even if it's ugly as hell."

Drury looked across the table, Gar now fully smiling. "Well, we can't *all* have your smouldering good looks," he shot back.

"I," Gar grinned, "Wasn't stupid enough to pass my genes on."

===Panessa- Break Room===

Gar looked up at the TV, frowning. Lois Lane was on a tirade about Slabside, and that, that worried him. "- No more word on the recent chaos at the supermax prison, Slabside Penitentiary. Though the warden has issued an brief statement regarding the security of Bane, and his Society's agents- assuring us that he's still in custody, the fact that *anyone* could breach the prison walls, Society sympathiser or otherwise, is a worrying prospect. Especially as, earlier this year, Slabside was the site of Mayor Marion Grange's death at the hands of Onomatopoeia, who at the time was meant to be securely locked away in the prison's east wing. More details as the story progresses."

'Drury, what have you done?' he thought, glancing over to the trio of Injustice Leaguers in the corner, clearly enjoying their newfound success- even if it was born from their ridicule.

"We're big, right?" Disaster was saying. "Why don't we get our own trailers? Or personal assistants?"

"We've still got Big Sir," Bruce said supportively, his long hair being braided by Ratchett's enormous hands.

"You'll *always* have Big Sir, Mr Major!" he interjected cheerfully.

Ignoring him, Maj. sighed. "Small comfort, Sir's as much of an actor as... Nic Cage is."

"You better take that back," one of the stage hands snapped back.

Disaster groaned. "Have you *seen* how many of those strawberries-"

"Razzies."

"- he has? I think I was being kind! ...I don't see why they have to separate us, that's all."

"Gee, why would they keep Brad Pitt away from a bunch of ex-supervillains?" a voice called out. Gar looked up, this must've been the building consultant they'd called.

She sauntered in, toolbox in her hand, belt hoisted high, and headphones resting around her neck. She liked music. 'I can work with that,' he thought.

"Gar, this, is Jenna Duffy," the director announced, following in behind her.

"Pleasure," Gar said.

"Naturally," she winked back.

"Gar, before we resume, I want you and Jenna to run point on health and safety on the set. Check those barricades. Safe, but functional yeah?" the director said, as he grabbed a coffee from the machine, and handed one to Duffy. "See you in ten."

"Got it, Edison," he called back, as his boss disappeared into his trailer. "So, Jenna! This, is the team. That's Bruce, that's Paul, you'll know Dufus, obviously."

Duffy nodded, and waved at him.

"Big Sir is saving up all his pocket money, Mrs Lady. Big Sir is going to buy a biiiiiig tricycle and a bigger wagon to carry all of his friends!" he announced proudly, blushing slightly. Gar couldn't help smile.

"Ah, Ratchett, never grow up."

"I'm gonna buy a boat!" Disaster declared loudly, putting on a pair of sunglasses excitedly. "Gonna sail the high seas!"

"Maj, the price tag's still- uh," Gar begins, sharing a smile with Duffy. At this, Booker hastily stuffs the $2.00 plastic glasses into his pocket, and straightens his tie awkwardly.

"Dammit, Bruce, you told me they were fine," he snapped.

===The Moth Cave===

Chuck rested his hand against an old picture. Heh. The Misfits were all gathered around a table in My Alibi, Len pointing a finger up at the cameraman. 'Poor Rigger,' he smiled. In the front, Drury and Miranda sat hand in hand, fresh from their wedding- her yellow dress tainted slightly by Zodiac's blood. Or maybe that Larson fellow's... 'Julian, Blake, Drury... Miranda... so few of us left,' he sighed to himself, and placed it in a cardboard box.

"Give me a hand with this, will you?" a voice called out from above.

Chuck looked up. Coming down the stairs, was Gar, with his arms laden with wine glasses, tablecloths and a thatched picnic basket. Rushing into action, he took a pair of chairs from him, and guided him to the bottom. As they laid their labours along the ground, he came across a glass bottle, nestled in a paper bag.

"Dom Pérignon... That's expensive stuff. What's the occasion?" Chuck asks, as he runs his finger along the label. Instinctively, Gar takes the bottle from his hands, and slides it back in its' box.

"Met someone," he mumbles, his cracked skin blushing slightly.

"What? Not the person you've invited to the manor for some Mothmobile themed tune-ups-?" Chuck grins, placing a hand on his back.

"Lynns, you dog," Chancer smirks.

"Speak from the heart, man!" Firebug smiles, placing an approving hand on his shoulder.

Gar shrugs it off, and he turns to the trio. "It's not- that's not- Drury's gone. Someone needs to make sure his stuff's looked after, and she just so happens to like his toys."

"Bet she's got some sick toys of her ow- Ow, why'd you hit me?!" Sharpe complains.

"Because you dissed his girlfriend-" Rigger interjects. "Not cool, man."

"I did not! T'was a compliment, Gar honest! Really, I bet she's stack- Ow! Next time, I'm gonna fuckin' shoot you!" Chancer snarls, rubbing his bruised skin. Rigger grabs him by his lapels, and drags him away.

"She's not my girlfriend-! ... Not yet anyway," Gar yells after them. "What, you not joining them" he asked, turning back to Chuck.

He sat down, perching on a particular homely looking boulder. "It's just us now, Gar. The originals. What was it Drury called us?"

"The OGs..." Gar winced slightly.

"God, we got old," Brown chuckles slightly. "Morty's still skirting his taxes, Len's been tending that bar for half our careers, Julian went Lightning Bug on us, Drury..."

"- Is Drury," Gar warned.

"And Blake... Blake was possessed by a sex demon... Look, Gar, I know I'm not him-"

Gar cocked his head to one side. "I never said you were."

"But let's just say one of us deserves to be happy, eh?" he smiles, as he pats him on the back, and joins the others.

"Gar? You down here?" Duffy calls out, as she makes her way down the stairs.

"Yeah, uh, mind the step will you?" he calls back. "18, maybe 17, is a bitch."

As she lands at the bottom, Jenna takes a look around the cave, toolbox in hand, and stops at a small bench. "Did you, um, is that, uh, a picnic basket?"

Gar turns to the spread, and nods. "Yes. Yes it is. I thought you might want, uh, a sandwich. Or something! I got miniature quiches too. And wine."

"Wine and power drills don't exactly tend to work so good, honey."

"Yes! Right," Gar turns his head, and notices Rigger in the corner, raising a proud thumb. "*Ahem.* You, uh, look... I like your skin."

The trio pause, huddling together. "Do we reckon that was *meant* to sound racist?" Chancer asks.

"What? Nah, I reckon it was self deprecating," Rigger explains, a little off put.

"Right, right. Cause his face is fucked," Sharpe says, satisfied.

"Can you guys give us some privacy, please?" an exasperated Gar asks.

"Right you are!" Chuck calls back, as he pulls the other two to their feet.

"Jenna-" Gar begins, swallowing.

"Yeah, Gar?" she asks back, a slight Irish twang in her voice.

"I-" he continues, before a loud ringtone echoes through the cave. "Oh, what now?" he growls.

"It's going down, I'm yelling timber-" the phone rings, before a gloved hand grabs it, in a desperate attempt to silence it.

"Sorry," Chancer adds sheepishly. "My phone," he explains, as he clambers back up the stairs, and puts it to his ear. "Hi, Gramps. No, yeah, on my way!"

Gar glowered, before turning back to Duffy. "Do you want to maybe instead grab a-"

"Coffee? Love to."
