Primer intento de hacer una Star Trail, compuesta de 50 fotos y un toque de color a la montaña.
No se si queda muy acertado, pero a mi me a gustado.
PD: como siempre..los colores salen mas saturados aqui, que en el Lightroom.

My first attempt at star trails. Could have been worse however the intervals also could have not been 30 seconds apart... Better luck next time Jon!

j'ai fait genre 50mètre de chez moi pour me poser dans le champs avec ma ptite lampe torche et j'ai bravé milles dangers (bon en fait 2) ! je me suis fait piquer par des orties (ca remue le sang mais ca pique quand même !) et j'ai croisé une bête sur ma route ! une terrifiante bête ! elle a du se dire la même chose en fait...
Et je sais pas qui a eu le plus peur de nous 2, moi ou le hérisson :/ ...
(la nuit par contre ya des bruits bizarres dehors, des craquements, des bestioles, mais c'était trop fun !)

Same spot as the previous image, but now my first startrail. Took some time and editing to remove all the plaintrails that disturbed the image. I did not know that my camera can only make 100 photo's in continuous mode,so this is a stack of 100 images at f4, iso 500, and 10 sec exposure.
Same spot in France but an different hour and weather! Incredible how the same spot can look so different in different situations.

Went out tonight to have my first attempt at star trails & lightpainting after spotting this old water tank which I thought was just asking for such treatment.
I was inspired by www.flickr.com/photos/micklynch/ 's photography. in this regard. Certainly not upto his standard. Very inspiring stuff Mick!
Every intention of going trying a few more of these.. just need to find some interesting objects which can be shot whilst facing south!
Tips for improvement would be much appreciated.
FWIW, canon 350d, Sigma 10-20mm @ approximately 14mm, f8, 121 30second exposures stacked in Photoshop.
Just a little startrail experiment. Quite pleased with this one, working on a bit of a timelapse too. But that will follow later when I've got some more shots together.

This night the owner had arranged a shutdown of the waterhole lights. The colors of the stars match nicely to the rocks.
