This whitetail buck (A4) is starting a scrape on the RS plot by rubbing scent from glands on his forehead and eyes onto a small branch. Underneath he will paw the soil and mark it with urine and secretions from his tarsal glands to stake out this territory.

Caught this by pure luck. All season swimmers have been asking me to take pictures of the start of the race... after a few semi-failed attempts I stumbled across this shot!
The pack at the start of the Class A Boys Illinois State Cross Country meet at Detweiller Park in Peoria.
I started with an image of a tree and changed the levels of the image too 41 - 1.32 - 227. I then opened an image of a persons face to by my second image and desaturate the image. Then I dragged and dropped that image of the persons face on top as my second layer. Then I used the brush tool to select the face only to be my selection. I copied the face image as a separate layer, then used the Gaussian tool and got it to be a radius of 2.0 Pixels. Then I duplicated the back layer. With the face on the base layer on the face I changed the Layer Style to colour dodge.
