Dennis mountain biked to the road crossing and river crossing, so there was no aid except what runners brought with them, and water from a spring and river about half-way around the loop. Bill and Mike had driven a long way to run 2 loops, but the trail and the weather had other plans...

This is a set from one of the regular nights I shoot for my Images from the Underground project - I used my normal techniques for club shooting of slow shutter speeds and wide angle lenses to get trippy and exciting effects that really capture the night.

I'm geeked to start a few things indoors from seeds this year. these are only about a week and a half old and they're growing fast (well, except for the nasturtiums, that is)!
I went up the woods this morning, as I approached I could smell the bluebells before seeing them, such a delicious smell :-)
I spent about 3 hours here, at one point Rosie and I just sat in the middle of the path, and watched and listened, I have made a video, might post it later - it was bliss. I haven't been up this part of the woods for a very long while and I was getting desperate to get out and up here.......luckily it was a beautiful day too, what more could you want....
MIU student started a sit-in in front of university campus to demand the cancelling of suspension of 9 student who were arbitrary suspended , freedom of protesting on campus , guarantees that investigated students would not be graded unfairly by professors and and an exemption from absence penalties for suspended students
