(In case you’re wondering, I think it’s just a hunk of mud flying above the saddle.)

I don't know this man's name, but he's been performing on Pearl Street since I was a wee lad. His routine has barely changed, but I still like it. I still can't figure how he stretches himself like this.

Harri starting out, ready to show off for the girls. Next year we'll be started Harrison in harness and hopefully under saddle. But for now he gets to bulk up a bit more and enjoy the lush grass. :)

Pinney Library along with musician, Rin, visited the Wee Start program based at Marquette Elementary School. The program supports teen parents and their children. Moms and kids enjoyed stories, songs, bubbles, and live music at their end-of-year-celebration!
why a starting pistol with the shape of revolver is still used in something as peaceful as athletics?
Begin by developing sketches that focus on composition rather than tiny details. Details can always be added in later - I like to leave some decision-making for the actual drawing itself. Reference photos are appropriate, since this is a self portrait - but avoid being totally influenced by the photography...it's important that you, as the artist, make artistic decisions as you develop your artwork.
I turned in my senior thesis paper yesterday and I feel so unburdened. That was the only major thing I had left for school, so now I'm done.
Have to turn in my housing application today and then it'll be official.
Moving out....now THAT is a big deal and a fresh start.
And you know what that means...shopping!!! Shop for graduation outfit...summer outfits...Berkeley outfits...shoes, particularly gladiator shoes ...dorm stuff...etc... =)
View over Borealis Peaks etc. from the bivy on Talchako's NE buttress. I have another version of this shot posted already - I must have taken 20 shots just of this sunset - this one has a bit better detail of the valleys but less colour in the sky.
I don't really use a planner so this will be more like a journal. On each day of the weekly pages I intend to write the best thing that happened that day.
Used a 3-ring binder from 1972 - decided to NOT embellish it because I like it just the way it is. It has all of the original dividers, etc. I do plan to add to the dividers.
So far I have printed the monthly/weekly calendar pages, some unlabeled lists, and Dare2Be/List 10 pages, painted reinforcement rings, started working on the January divider, started my "Global" To-do list, made some calendar entries, and made my Week 1 PAC* (with 16 half-circle reinforcements).
* I've used my cat stamp multiple times this year already. I can't help it. I've already got several other places I plan to use it...to the point that people will think I'm a one-trick pony and have only one rubber stamp. :)
