Victoria Square, Birmingham Not sure how anyone can afford a packet of fags these days, especially youngsters. But maybe she thinks it’s worth it to “look cool”?

Getting ready to work the cows with his dad, this little buckaroo leads his horse out of the trailer.
I södra Sverige är merparten av grenarna fortfarande gröna men om man tittar efter lite nogrannare ser man att starten på hösten är här.
You can still see mostly green tree and vegetation in the southern parts of Sweden. But if you take a closer look, you will soon find evidence that autumn is coming.

"You got a fast car
I want a ticket to anywhere
Maybe we make a deal
Maybe together we can get somewhere
Anyplace is better
Starting from zero got nothing to lose "

One of the coolest things we have done is to start cooking. I found myself well into my thirties without any idea of nutrition and without the ability to cook anything. On the recommendation of a friend - I start using cookbooks from America's Test Kitchen. They experiment with recipes 50 different ways until they come up with something that tastes good and that anybody can make.
And it works. We made potato salad first and it turned out to be the best I had ever tasted. I couldn't believe that we actually made it. We were hooked and now have eight of their books and use them for everything. Years later we now make all kinds of food including our own salad dressing and bread. It never ceases to amaze me and I think of it every time we reach the bottom of another spice bottle.
Wonderful Wednesday to you my friend. Food brings people together.
This is a reverse glass painting I did on an old table for outside on the front porch. The middle photo was taken from the back side, so that you can see how I painted over the details as I went- details have to go on first! It's sometimes a confusing mess with how to think of this type thing. :)
A two shot combo here, so the exif is the shot for the foreground and lighthouse. Took the Milkyway shot as a separate frame to expose properly.

I started early, took my bike,
And visited the sea;
The mermaids in the basement
Came out to look at me.
And frigates in the upper floor
Extended hempen hands,
Presuming me to be a mouse
Aground, upon the sands.

The Rolling Stones 1981 “come back” hit seemed like an apt description for this image. I’m back on my much adored L567 assignment this month, for our first go on the new bid we got a late start at 0700 (normally it’s 0230) thanks to work blocks up north. This allows for a nice low light look at the 215 making moves around the shop having just been started up by the mechanical forces a few minutes prior on a nice crisp and cool autumn morning.
My husband, our son and me with our glasses sitting 10,000 ft. up on Caribou Mt. as the eclipse started. Such a great time was had by us. We got to view 92% totality.

Sometimes you have to burn it down and start from scratch.
A huge thank you to Anna Skahill for not only modelling in this photo, but in doing so missing out on going to the lake with the rest of the meetup gang (they forgot about us!)
This image has been in my head for months and I knew that I wanted to shoot it in Indiana and right away I knew that Anna would be the perfect person to help me out. I don't think I've ever met someone as 100% genuinely happy and positive as Anna.
#4 I decided to go to a lake in my neighbourhood on an early October morning. The sun came up very beautiful. I always shoot RAW and JPG. The JPG was even more orange. I processed this one in RAW and tried to create almost the same image as my JPG because of the orange atmosphere;-)
