The rain thumped down the very next day at 15h15, exactly when the ceremony started on top of the hill the day before. Wow. Realised just how lucky we had been the day before.

I started this page playing with oil pastels as a background without gessoing the page first. On the right, I was playing with applying oil pastels to a photo/photo paper. Neither worked out as I wanted, so I applied a light coat of gesso and sat up last night mixing pastels. *G* I left the photo alone because I plan to play with it with gel pens.
