A stack of chairs outside Mortons on Byres Road. Mortons is a fantastic little cafe and its pretty cheap too - if they scrapped the expensive wifi it would be perfect for my pre-lecture coffee.

Taken at Padre Island National Seashore. I took a number of exposures with the Panasonic DMC-FZ28 and then used additive stacking in Gimp to increase the brightness while cutting noise.

A small sugar ant composite based on 30 individual photos; its my first image using my diy automatic macro machine
The machine essentially moves the camera in very small increments via a stepper motor and takes a picture at each position. Its all controlled over USB using some hardware and software I built myself.
The individual pictures are stacked together in software to obtain a sharp output image.

In the 1950s the standard pallet was introduced
to a wider audience, and demand for BT products
grew steadily. To meet customer demand for
efficient materials handling, BT continued to develop
and broaden its range of fork lift trucks.
BT quickly realized the need for efficient
service. In 1954 it began to open service centers
around Sweden. This focus on service and quality
would later become closely associated with the BT
brand.
Technological leadership has been BT’s motto
from the very beginning and still distinguishes
the brand. Back in the mid-fifties, for example, a
research project was funded to identify when it is
most advantageous to use gas, diesel or battery
power.
Before the decade drew to a close, BT began
producing manual stackers and exporting its
products on a small scale.

Peter spent a lot of time on this trip stacking rocks. Shown here on Plavnik Island after crossing from Krk.
Not far from John O'Groats at the North East of Caithness are these impressive stacks. The Great Stack is over 60 metres high. We visited at sunrise to capture this beautiful sight.
