The grey squirrel's in London's regent's park are so used to people that they'll quite fearlessly rob you of any food you might be eating - like this one did when I was sitting down eating a strawberry & yoghurt breakfast bar (my favourite!)
He got his just desserts however ( . . or didn't) when two jackdaws chased him across the field, hopping & darting in the bushes & promptly robbed him of it.
So he was only left with this small piece . . . which is still more than I got !!

Yesterday this grey squirrel was stealing the bird food.
Today we installed squirrel-resistant feeders so this blighter is scoffing our snowdrops in revenge!

Poor little thing was so hungry, but then Grey Squirrels always are hungry, I've yet to meet one that refused free food, this was another of my proper Winters Day finds, made the most of the snowy opportunities on Sunday.
There must have been half a dozen people photographing this little guy, but I was the only one kneeling down in the snow to get the eye level shots, I think everyone must have thought I was looney tunes kneeling in the snow wearing jeans LOL :0)
I had to remove some unsightly bits of twig and grass, things are so much easier to remove in snowy photographs LOL :o)
I really need a good thaw now as I cannot find any macro stuff in the snow LOL :o)
In about a few weeks we will spend another holiday in the Cairngorms. Hopefully the squirrels will still be there, and who knows there may be even a little snow this time...

Not a usual sort of shot for me, this little squirrel was so funny. It was doing forward rolls on the grass! Up the tree it went and sat for a quick photo.
We had 5 HUNGRY squirrels in our yard today at one time. Between them and the doves, they are eating me out of house and home. haha
What a difference a little sunshine makes! A red squirrel at the British Wildlife Centre yesterday enjoying a hazelnut.
I found this little fellow yesterday morning working, very industriously on a stash of black walnuts and watched him for about forty-five minutes as he hauled and husked his treasures. I wanted you to be able to see his progress as he worked the husk off ; so there are four more shots embedded in the comments.
