With huge apologies to Sally, I tried to copy one of your photos to copy. This was the challenge with a glass, bottle and lemon. Don't think my memory served me well with the set up though.

Route 210 has an interesting point as it crosses Hampstead Heath towards Highgate buses have to squeeze through the narrow gap in the road at Spaniards Inn whilst the oncoming traffic has to wait as seen here in this damp shot of a Metroline TA class Trident in April 2010

Under the immense glacial weight, air bubbles are squeezed out and ice crystals enlarge, imparting intense blue color to the ice. The glacier used to drop icebergs directly into the ocean; the lagoon formed about 70 years ago when the glacier started retreating inland. Given the current retreat rate of Vatnajökull, a deep fjord will likely develop where Jökulsárlón is now.
