Bathurst and Queen Street West, Toronto. I shot this a few years ago and it was one of my first pictures on flickr, before I had any photo editing software. Photoshop helped correct a slight tilt and I added a bit of contrast. Much better. :)
There's a job. This B747 was on its way to Shanghai, and this guy was squeegee-ing its cockpit windows, about 15 feet away from me.

What makes this rare is that Barrymore is on his back completely relaxed, next to Tigger, his arch enemy! I thought they were starting to ease up on each other a bit, until tonight, when both Tig and More-More started positioning for a fight. Tigger came to me after being called a couple of times, while Barrymore stayed frozen and ready for action! I still can't leave the little brats alone! Squeegee is my good boy, though a bit of an instigator when he wants food!

I painted the cabinets white and then used leftover office paint and a texture squeegee to make reverse texture
This little elephant seal showed up at Mitchell's Cove in Santa Cruz in the morning. I picked him up and had help carrying him up the stairs by friendly locals. The reporting person saw bright red patches on this seal and thought it was injured. The red patches turned out to be pieces of seaweed. He has complete black "socks and mittens" which are remnants of the black fur coat he was born with.
I named him Squeegee after a tool I use to make silkscreen prints - its just a fun word I have wanted to use for a while.
This is the earliest photo (based on currently limited metadata) that I have of Sara. I do know that I wasn't taking pictures when she was born; which was good. As soon as she was out, cord cut and swaddled she was handed to me; which was so freaking awesome. But I remember thinking, "Haven't they forgotten a step or two?," as they hadn't squeegeed her nose or anything except wrapped her up.
Arctic terns are so agressive - it´s the bird I think my husband hates the most. The first time I was introduced to them, he wanted to show me how they are, so he took me out to an open field - I had no idea birds nested in huge open fields, silly me at the time (10 years ago) thought birds only nested in trees - and said, "Watch this." I sat in the car and thought it strange that he was taking a glass squeegee with him to the field, but whatever.
He took a few steps out and the birds started swirling overhead and making a strange "clicking" sound. He reached down to pick up a baby bird and then the terns really started attacking. Every time they´d start clicking, they´d dive and would go for the highest point - hence the squeegee. That way the birds would only get so far as the squeegee.
The birds attacked the car, got past the squeegee and left him with a few small puncture wounds, and I understood why he didn´t like terns! Not that he ever made a habit out of picking up baby birds, but if you even do so much as accidentally wander into a nesting field, they will let loose the furor of the birds from Alfred Hitchcock´s movie "The Birds".

I've been thinking of Willy Wonka and Dr. Seuss stuff lately. I've also been stretching my drawing muscles. I hope you like it!
I swear I'm gonna start carrying some rags or a squeegee with me and when I'm on a bus and it's raining I'll VOLUNTEER TO WIPE THE WINDSHIELD periodically so the driver can SEE OUT THE WINDOW CLEARLY!
Driving to work, this artist dude jumps out like one of the squeegee chumps, and starts painting my windshield! I'm like "woah, dude! I'm not paying anything!" Then I realize it's Monet and he's depressed, painting in black and white. I cupped him a 5-spot and a few cigs. I didn't want the other stop light artists to see I gave him anything or it would encourage them. He smiled and finished the final squiggles and then I presume rambled off to the closest bar.

The painterly effect was achieved using a small squeegee like a spatula to paint and pouring more colors on the silk-screen; in particular the colors more or less luminous, have been used to give prominence to the subject.
Again, from yesterday since I left my camera in my friend's car and couldn't upload this until today. These guys freak me out! I don't know how they do what they do.

The intersection of Connecticut Ave NW and Q St gets a lot of bus traffic; it's right next to the Dupont Circle Metro(rail) entrance. I hate days after a snowfall when the little remaining piles of snow are covered in black soot, and this bus isn't very clean either. I think every driver should take ten minutes before his day to squeegee his bus. Or better yet the bus depot should have a quick car wash for buses to drive out of.
I like how this bus stop has a name on the side ("Q STREET NW") - presumably the bus's own electronic sign inside has the same text. Very important tool for newcomers. Even better would be for drivers to announce clearly the name of the stop, but I guess we've given up on that, sadly. Washington, DC.
Excuse the marks..i think my attempt to squeegee off excess water failed.

It hardly ever gets cold enough for frost in the Bay Area. We don't have ice scrapers in our cars, so this morning Simon had to spray his down with the garden hose and I had to clear the windows with a shower squeegee.
Oooops! I flooded the backroom and Josh being the standup guy that he is
squeegeed the floor and mopped it up. Hey... I went to pick up other
people's food...!
Probably my favourite shot from the roll. The flare was a nice touch and wasn't planned at all.
From my first roll of self developed film! The part I was dreading the most was the loading of the film on to the reels but it was easier than I thought. I might have messed up a bit developing because I say some discolouring around the sprockets but the pictures came out fine. I should also do a better job at drying the film. I made the poor choice of squeegeeing the film with my fingers after taking it out of the tank which left some streaks of residue. Oh well, it was a test roll for a reason!
After doing some reading, I learned that Rodinal works better with less agitation. Don't know why the instructions said otherwise. Going to try stand development for my next roll.
I did some editing after scanning in lightroom. I haven't really mastered scanning film yet so I still have to edit afterwards. Kentmere didn't have a profile in Vuescan which also made it more difficult. The processing wasn't very good either but I think it was a success considering it was my first roll!

I'm on squeegee duty while my colleague fills the tank at a filling station somewhere outside Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The new washout booth! designed by myself and fabricated by my awesome dad out of 10 gauge iron and then painted with the stuff they paint the inside of water holding tanks with. He says they give those tanks a good eight coats, he gave the interior of the sink 24. That means it probably wont rust.
To think that this was where that wack-ass washroom was. Nice place for a picnic, if the squeegee kids and panhandlers leave you alone.
