Prepping a new screen for the images. I use Speedball Diazo photo emulsion and of course wear rubber gloves.

I used Creative JumpStart techniques from the mono-printing video and a squeegee from the squeegee fun video. The bright pop of colors are from Luminarte Silks Acrylic Glazes (Sunflower, Jasmine and Pretty Periodot). I was happy the Silks worked out so well on the areas squeegeed thru the textured modeling paste!

I've been using a small squeegee as a sanding block, I'm trying to keep the edges as crisp as possible.
Last night, as I was sorting through and pitching a bunch of my mom's old paperwork, all three cats got on the sofa at the same time! this has only happened once before, and I wasn't able to photograph it. This was a rather monumental occasion! Finally, the boys seem to get along, and neither Barrymore nor Tigger seems as threatened as before! Squeeks and Tigger have been very friendly, which I never thought would happen! Progress!

Storms Double Diploma’s Duties at USA Pavilion
We sat in the office as the thunder rumbled above. Rain poured down as our walkie-talkie crackled to life. “We need people down here with mops and squeegees!,” shouted a Student Ambassador. The ‘duty ops’ manager swiftly responded, “Call Diploma!”
Diploma is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the USA Pavilion. With more than 45,000 guests passing through the doors daily, it requires enormous dedication and hard work to keep our pavilion clean. They are some of the unsung heroes of the USA Pavilion, who, along with the other staffs here, enable us to give guests a good experience.
