Another shot from my visit at Monrepos yesterday. Obviously I took some photos of birds too although I admit that I mainly pointed my camera at the squirrels who were the reason why I went there. Squirrels are usually more entertaining than birds and unlike birds they interact with humans. And they are the more willing photo models although this nuthatch did a great job too. :)
Just returned from an extended trip to Death Valley and will be trying to catch up on the spring blooms. Over the next several months I will mix in some of the images from the trip.
The snows still fall in northern Wyoming. And the old ranch home is shrouded in white.

It's snowing and blowing right now, so a time when I like to remember warmer days. This image was taken at a local park that I frequent. Most of the time I am creeping around under the bridge in my quest to find frogs and insects, but this time the huge crabapple tree took the show. HSS!
I slightly saturated the colour and added an effect in Topaz Studio 2.
