It was one of those "oh no it isn't..." moments and it seemed spring would never make it. Of course it did and it's been spectacular, it's just me now working on a two month backlog of photos!

Andrew played HARD at the park today. He fell twice and took a slide through the mulch. He didn't mention a word at the park but once we were to the car, suddenly it became clear just how uncomfortable they were. Poor fella. He's all boy. The bruises are from all the outdoor play over this glorious weekend. Looks like he's been in a street fight... thank goodness Band-Aids make it better.

Springtime always brings out the best of the fruit trees. They have a nice smell, attract all kinds of insects. The insects attract the birds. The beauty and odor attract the people.

Another flower shot... but no excuses any more.
Again I made some shots with the old Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar and again wide open.
The weather is great, the sun shines and I have some time to spend on making photos. Thats really relaxing.
I wonder if the red tulips in the background are distracting the viewer from the sharp blue flowers in the foreground or if they are essentially for the picture..

These little boots are crocheted with machine washable merino, random dyed yarn from Skeinz, New Zealand.
They have leather soles sewn to the bottoms, making them suitable for an older baby. The buttons are wooden.
These boots are made from a pattern by Mon Petit Violon designs. I added a shell edging around the top.
