Church Garden on Kilmarnock Rd at Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow. Idea layout for a possible painting.

Mattel's Frozen Fevel Elsa doll has been deboxed. She is posed standing, supported by a Kaiser doll stand. She is wearing springtime, green colored versions of her Snow Queen outfit and shoes. She has flowers in her hair and outfit, instead of icicles and snowflakes.

I got the Anna and Elsa Frozen Fever dolls by Mattel, from Amazon. Elsa is a much better looking doll, especially her face, but they both have very nice outfits. I show both dolls boxed, but debox only Elsa for now. After deboxing Elsa, I compare her side by side with Classic Elsa (2013). Disney Store version of these dolls were released online 2015-02-24 and will be released in stores 2015-03-02.

okay, it's not exactly springtime. Brisbane doesn't get any - it goes straight from winter to summer. But every October the jacarandas flower all over Brisbane.

A sure sign of spring. Hope the next couple of cold nights don't do too much damage to the budding plants and trees.

It's springtime so time for the boats to return to the water, until the autumn

My 11-year-old daughter decorated these hardboiled eggs at our homeschool co-op. She refused to eat them until I photographed them.

We are not religious people, yet we celebrate the rituals of both Judaism and Christianity, because we've grown up with them. I think of these eggs as "Springtime" eggs rather than Easter eggs. I even put dyed eggs on our seder plate!

this cake was made for the mum of a very good friend of mine. Her mother turned 70 today.

The cake itself is fruitcake covered in marzipan and fondant.

The flowers on the cake include peonies, roses, primulas and open roses. The only directive I had on this cake was to use some pink as the birthday girl loves pink and flowers

This was an image from last year. I really really miss living in Toowoomba. It had a lot of flaws (the drivers) but it was such a pretty town.

The view up to Rochester Castle. The springtime blossom was attactive, but the sky was an unrelenting grey.

From today's Shoot Rochester Live event with the Steyning Camera Club, organised by the nice people of Upminster Camera Club.

One of my 5 unedited images - here the theme was "a view of Rochester including the castle".
