Interesting take on the Spring Roll: the Spanish version - stuffed with paella. A spicy aioli topping the rice was a nice 'heat' touch. Overall, it was interesting... but I would prefer something firm inside my spring rolls.
Here's what it looked like inside, not too exciting. The papaya was a weird twist and the few leaves of fresh basil were the highlight. You would not believe how much water drained out of the end of this spring roll, probably about 3-4 ounces, enough to coat almost the whole serving tray!?! WTF?

and i smartly forget the name for this one. the skin reminds me of kebab. something in between kebab and spring roll, with meat in it.
