I spent the weekend sewing dresses for the girls.

This section of the Pocklington Canal is near the village of Melbourne looking towards Pocklington
The canal path at this point is part of the Wilberforce Way long distance path. (Hull to York)
The Wilberforce Way is a 60 mile linear trail devised to mark the bicentenary of the 1807 Act of Parliament abolishing British involvement in the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
The Pocklington Canal is a broad canal that runs for 9.5 miles through nine locks from the Canal Head near Pocklington in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, to the River Derwent which it joins near East Cottingwith. Most of it lies within a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest

This was 'Street Party Sunday' & it didn't improve a great deal as the day wore on & by mid-afternoon another sea-fret had rolled in.

Nerima where I live in has a lot of small fields. In most cases, I cannot enter inside because they are fences and are surrounded. I took this over a fence on that day, but grandma invited me inside of fences.

This winter has had an okay share of snow, but in another grip now of sub-Arctic temps with wind chills not fit for man or thick-furred sled dogs. (20 below wind chills) Therefore, given that alone, I'm not out taking shots of anything as its pretty boring out there. Here, I have one of my cats, PuttPutt, looking out in the spring when the weather was warm and sunny and desperately await its arrival once more!
