With the arrival of spring, the Milky Way begins to be visible in the skies of Portugal at dawn, in this image, captured in Monsaraz, in the Alqueva´s Dark Sky Reserve, you can watch it in plenty, thanks to this mosaic of 21 images that allows a large field of view, revealing this “arm” of our galaxy above the Convent of Orada (dated 1670).
Near the center and right of palm trees, the moon shines brightly, although not interfering with the giant arc of the Milky Way where it is possible to distinguish a lot of constellations like Ursa Minor, with the polaris star to the left of the image, until the swan (Cygnus), with its North America nebula (NGC7000) clearly visible, down to the right, we still find the constellation of Sagittarius and Scorpio, with the brilliant super giant star, Antares.

Isn't this spring time??!?!?! Finally we're going to leave winter and going into hot weather! I spent thw whole afternoon walking and taking pictures...You can't guess how happy am i right now! :D
I've always loved peach trees with soft pink flowers, but this is the first time i take a picture of them....i know, the tree in the pic isn't a peach tree, but it doesn't mind, it has soft pink flowers too ;)

"Out & About" today roaming around looking for signs of spring. This rural pond recreational area was a delightful sight with melting ice, blue sky and almost no snow! What a difference one week can make in the landscape!
It's been a VERY long winter in north Iowa, so these simple visual treats are a welcomed sight!

I must confess that this year’s spring season is really strange. The weather is changing a lot from cold to warm and back to cold and I also experienced some crazy snow storms in a time where I should see a lot of flowers and wearing only a shirt. But I tried to walk with my eyes open through the world and from time to time I did have some luck however. Like the day when I made this shot here! The mud already reached areas of my legs far over my ankles but it was worth to reach this area here. I was really smiling when I saw this wonderful piece of earth with flowers and I tried to make something like a beautiful shot … I hope ;-)
