"It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! "
~Mark Twain
"A little madness in the Spring
Is wholesome even for the King."
~Emily Dickinson

Jacaranda blooming certainly signals spring here. This is taken on a foggy morning from Maleny, looking over the glasshouse mountains.
Yesterday evening, during an outing with the Photo Collective Leuven, with spring blossoms and an atmospheric sunset, my telephoto lens got into a romantic mood
My favorite flowering tree of the season.
Hope you had a great weekend!
Love this song and had to add this image.

This naturally fed spring was photographed in western St. Lucie County near Fort Pierce, Florida. See this, and more, on my website at www.tom-claud.pixels.com.

At the very beginning of June, the new fields of barley, wheat, legumes, and canola are vibrantly alive as we approach Summer!
This was a perfect late Spring Sunday to appreciate the country - crystal clear sweet air, temperatures perfect (mid-60’s F/16+C) - and the winter/early spring plantings are growing rapidly.
While Idaho grows a larger US percentage of barley, the Palouse and the rest of Washington Stare grow a significant percentage of this cereal crop in the US.

A song sparrow looks my way in between her beautiful calls. Finally the spring weather has arrived to southern Ontario :)
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for viewing!
Spring is making its way into Lapland slowly but surely. Weather is getting warmer day by day and long gone are the days with only few hours of daylight. Unfortunately, also trees have lost their beautiful snow-cover.
My two personal favorite times of the year in Lapland are fall colors and mid-winter. Still, there is something magical about the spring.
Taken March 2021.
Planting season has just begun in our neck of the woods. We had actually just put our first 25 acres of corn in Friday, though many of our neighbors started last Saturday. Mother nature reminded us that she is in charge yesterday,we didn't get the 3-6" forecast but a dusting of snow and 28 degree temps(and a forecast of 4 straight days of rain in the coming week) put an end to any hopes of an early planting season....
A sunny spring day in April was a great opportunity to play with a macro lens, so I did just that - took my little 50mm macro for a spin. Not bad for a first try! Early April 2018.
Taken with Panasonic GX7 camera and adapted smc Pentax-M 50mm F4 Macro macro lens, wide-open at Æ’/4.
Photo taken at the Pelham waterfall on Dunlop brook. The volume of water was what really impressed on this day. It was much stronger than any I've seen before, Also what stuck in my mind was the transitions between winter and spring, illustrated by the bit of remaining ice. It was quite a magnificent show.

Works best in large.
Happy Tuesday all!
after a week of feeling pulled in too many directions, not enough time and too many commitments.
a beautiful spring morning...
hope your weekend is turning out to be a beautiful one!
Spring comes quickly and fades quickly.....
some areas havent even felt the beauty of Spring and yet ours is soon to be over.....Spring comes in February here and once the Dogwoods start to bloom it wont be long that the flowering season will be gone....It's funny how excited Karen and I were over clouds while we hung out on Sunday, but we know that once Summer hits-we wont have any kind of weather at all-no clouds-it will be hot and everything turns brown because we get virtually no rain all summer....so on Sunday we drove with the car windows open-enjoyed the cool breeze and had a wonderful day-trying to capture so much because it will soon be gone....the same as these little flowers are fading....so is our Spring........
Beautiful lady Hummingbird and beautiful Spring flowers........
This lady Hummingbird is admiring the beautiful red and white blooming blossom.........
The transformation from Winter to Spring has finally happened here in Ottawa! I went back to The Ottawa River to find that all the snow & ice has finally melted! I found this first tree had a pretty interesting shape!
A vibrant red Tulip, some Narcissus Paper-white and a deep blue Hyacinth, when Spring is in the air... well, in the shops! LOL
Have a sweet day and thank you for viewing, Magda (*_*)
