A little experimentation in Silver Efex Pro 2 with this sunset that didn't have great color, but did have some interesting forms, and a semi-cooperative sailboat to provide some foreground interest and depth perspective.

Number 258 of my 365 photo challenge - A tinted and slightly split-toned image of a red squirrel feasting on a nut in the forest.
I have been trying for ages to get one of these little guys but they are so rare and elusive these days, I thought I was never going to find one. He isn't perfectly in focus but I thought the pose was just too cute to go past. Phew. Finally! :-)
So recently I have been re-editing aot of my old shots, but this one stood out to me alot and needed a huge overhaul and not just a touch up, so I removed the colour as I felt it did not work, spent a while treating the image to some dodging and burning, then add a split tone to bring some life back to the image. It was a difficult shot to capture I had to climb on top of a few buildings to get to the viewpoint.
