Maldives is a collection of islands, each island composed of sand and coral. Beaches encircle the islands and each island has its own "house reef" serving as a coral garden and natural aquarium for scuba divers and snorkelers. The shallow water enclosed by the house reef is like a large natural swimming pool protecting swimmers from the ocean waves and strong tidal currents outside the house reef. This shot captures the secluded serenity of unique and unspoiled island, beautiful sandy beach with the floating wooden cottages on the still waters of the sea.

Thanks for taking the time to look. I hope you enjoy the image and the blurry bits. Happy Mittwochsmakro and Bokeh Wednesday
