Its a small ferry at the backwaters along the arabian sea. Here is the capture of a fisherman coming back from after his night toil with the waves. Every night they will go for fishing in the backwaters and will be back by morning.
Tried out split-tone processing in Gimp. Was confused whether i should go with a colored version or this one. Hope this is good. Suggestion please.
Tiddles, our family cat (when I say family, I mean mine)
He's only 3 and a bit, but bears the scars of a battle hardened 10 year old Tom, he will happily chase off foxes, I've witnessed him do this several times (he also sunbathes on the shed cheek by jowl with one), once defending the rabbit which was roaming free (as he continually dug out of his pen), and he has taken down all other cats foolish enough to enter his territory.
Thanks for taking the time to look, your comments are appreciated.

Another shot from my vacation. Which version do you like more? The color one or the black and white one?
I am happy for your kind comments and I welcome any constructive criticism! Tell me what do you like about my photos and also tell me what you don't. It is useful feedback.
In Brockhampton church, Herefordshire, which was built in 1906 and the lantern probably dates from then.

Fortunate I am to welcome a new day.
Some ways to help Japan:
Amazon (American Red Cross)
PayPal (You can choose which nonprofit you donate to. Several options there.)
Google (You can choose from Japanese Red Cross Society, UNICEF, and Save the Children.)
Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LX5
I couldn't resist these two reflected in the train window.
This isn't my best technique-wise (honestly, you really shouldn't look at this on any screen bigger than a phone) but this is definitely a keeper for that movie I'll never make.

This is another rework of a shot that I had previously uploaded a year ago. I thought that it would look decent as a split toned image but am on the fence about how it turned out. Then again it may be one of those things that grow on me the more I look at it.
The location of this was on the castle grounds at Culyean Castle in Scotland. I thought the path looked kind of cool with the gnarled branch overhanging it.
