Command Base Beta I
Display made for the french convention "Brick à Dole" 2017. The V2 with a new part "Starship Troopers" was presented to the french convention "Let\'s Go" 2018 in Schiltigheim.
This MOC is a collaborative diorama created with my friend Sweetsha & N3rik.
On this diorama we find the new theme Space Lego but also the Classic Space Lego.
It is intentionally ultra colored, it gives a side very fun :)
There are also many references to the great films of SF, pop culture and it\'s full of humor.
Obviously nothing will happen as planned, Space is going to shit. ^^
...the final frontier, but it's made in a Hollywood basement. - RHCP.
Some gloomy, grey day indoor fun this afternoon. Shot with iPhone 6.

It's the adventures of the Space Dweebs!
I feel like these characters have potential and I should do something with them, but I have no idea what.
This is a vector illustration, drawn all in InDesign.
UPDATE!: I finally figured out how I could use the Space Dweebs– They're the stars of my 2011 Xmas Card!
Want to see more? Check out my new blog! All the cool kids are doing it!
SpaceEngine - A free space simulation program that lets you explore the universe in three dimensions, from planet Earth to the most distant galaxies. Areas of the known universe are represented using actual astronomical data, while regions uncharted by astronomy are generated procedurally. Millions of galaxies, trillions of stars, countless planets - all available for exploration. You can land any planet, moon or asteroid and watch alien landscapes and celestial phenomena. You can even pilot starships and atmospheric shuttles.
DDC 1625. 4/12 "Space"
Outer Space? Inner Space? Lot's of Space? Need some Space? In honor of Russian Cosmonaut Day (4/12) show us you and your dog's interpretation of "Space"!
We just bought our house a year and a half ago, and I think we really bought it just for Spanky. We knew we needed a fenced-in yard with a lot of SPACE for Spanky to run. We liked the house from the start, but knew it was the house for us as soon as we saw the backyard.
Spanky loves having his very own running space!
All around the Atlantis Shuttle, there are interactive displays on several floors to learn more about the history and technologies of NASA's Space Shuttle Program. As we move forward, the corridor becomes orange and red, as if we felt the sudden return of the shuttle into the Earth's atmosphere …
Space Shuttle Discovery soars away from Launch Pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center, beginning its maiden voyage and a storied spaceflight career that spanned more than 26 years. The on-time liftoff occurred at 8:42 am EDT on Aug. 30, 1984.

A few 90's-era factioned Space figs I've had sitting around for a while. I'm not so sure the Ice Planet guy really works, but that helmet won't allow for an air tank, too.
The LL 314 is a small space plane which is used at the classic space academy for young cadets training for their first flight to space and excercise EVAs to work or handle other stuff.
Therefor it can fully open the canopie for easy exit and reentry into the vehicle.

I actually normally take my tripod into the park, I just stick it under Matt's stroller, you know, just in case. But this day, Nancy and I had gone off on our own, and Nancy's parents had the kids, and the stroller...and my tripod. So this is handheld, 1600 iso, 1/60th, at f/1.8. Pardon the blurriness.
