A childhood dream come true: This is the Moon Base I would have loved to have when I was a kid: 9×3 baseplates filled with stations, vehicles and spaceships.
20/20: Details (9/9)
That’s it, my Lego Classic Space Generation 1 Moon Base with 27 baseplates. It’s my biggest Lego project so far and really a childhood dream come true :-))

SpaceEngine - A free space simulation program that lets you explore the universe in three dimensions, from planet Earth to the most distant galaxies. Areas of the known universe are represented using actual astronomical data, while regions uncharted by astronomy are generated procedurally. Millions of galaxies, trillions of stars, countless planets - all available for exploration. You can land any planet, moon or asteroid and watch alien landscapes and celestial phenomena. You can even pilot starships and atmospheric shuttles.

Space Shuttle replica Explorer (now Independence) is a full-scale, high-fidelity replica of the Space Shuttle. Explorer was displayed at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex atop cement pilings and secured with steel cabling. Visitor access was provided by a gantry-style tower with ramps and an elevator for accessibility. Inside, visitors could view a mock-up payload, a mannequin wearing an early model of the orange launch/entry pressure suit used by shuttle astronauts, and a mock cockpit with controls and instruments. Since moved to Space Center Houston and renamed 'Independence'

Having missed the Space Station and Monument, at least I managed to point the camera in the right direction as it heading off to the East

Kreltor – I must have been thinking of Forbidden Planet when I started coming up with the names for these Space Quest guys. (I just realized there’s a Commander Adams in the movie, too!) Kreltor didn’t need as much detailing as Adams, but I had to completely paint the cybernetic arm. The upper half came molded in a metallic blue plastic that was just too out of place with the rest of the figure.
More time went into the base for this figure. The grating came from a holder for some sort of closet deodorizer, and the stonework was cut from a vac formed sheet. The grass was made using Durham’s Rock Hard Water Putty, and the chunks of rubble are the same material.
Swinging in space, space for more riders, looking out into the great beyond. Colorful wonderful space at the beach on a holiday weekend. Amazing.

Display made for the french convention "Brick à Dole" 2017. The V2 with a new part "Starship Troopers" was presented to the french convention "Let\'s Go" 2018 in Schiltigheim.
This MOC is a collaborative diorama created with my friend Sweetsha & N3rik.
On this diorama we find the new theme Space Lego but also the Classic Space Lego.
It is intentionally ultra colored, it gives a side very fun :)
There are also many references to the great films of SF, pop culture and it\'s full of humor.
Obviously nothing will happen as planned, Space is going to shit. ^^
Space X launches a Falcon 9 from Vandenberg SFB, California from SLC-4. A batch of 49 satellites for the Starlink mega-constellation communication system.
This launch carries D-Orbit’s ION SCV009 Eclectic Elena as a rideshare payload.
