here is a soviet style cemetery.
that was a quite unusual walk around Dushanbe.
The Soviet War Memorial at Treptower Park in what was then East Berlin was a massive expanse. Shown here, is one of several symbolic bronze garlands in the inner area of the memorial. Photo taken around Oct. 21, 1977.

The Soviet War Memorial (Tiergarten) is one of several war memorials in Berlin, capital city of Germany, erected by the Soviet Union to commemorate its war dead, particularly the 80,000 soldiers of the Soviet Armed Forces who died during the Battle of Berlin in April and May 1945.
A large Cyrillic inscription is written underneath the soldier statue, which is translated as "Eternal glory to heroes who fell in battle with the German fascist invaders for the freedom and independence of the Soviet Union".
Started out film photography recently, and now sharing some of my works on here. No filers, just pure film.
This is one of the first shots I took on the road to Gyumri with a Minolta X-700.
A rocket force base in former Soviet. The area is huge and consists of two main bases. Both in the nortern and the southern one there are several open bunkers in the forest, like this, together with regular buildings (or what´s left of them)
Grutas Park is the repository of old Soviet era statues and artifacts that were removed from public places at the end of Soviet Occupation.
