My real life Flickr friend Kay had noted that there was cool display in Flinton that I should go see.
Not to be one that doesn't pass up an opportunity to see a great Halloween (or any holiday display really) I hopped in the car and headed out this morning. These photos do not do the display justice.
Bill told me that the horse pulling the cart for the Soul Collector is parked just outside the entrance to the graveyard as part of their display.
I may not have time to answer or acknowledge your visit here or any comments you leave right away but, I will thank you now in advance.

Drive past this place every day on my way home from work. I've always half wanted to eat there -- smells fantastic -- but probably never will as I'm a cullinary coward at heart. It's under the Naylor Road metro stop for those braver than I am.
Also always wanted to take this picture* -- finally stopped & did it.
*(well, almost this picture -- I think, if anything, it's a bit cooler when it's cold & rainy outside and the window's half fogged over. Winter is near so you may be seeing more of this place)
Needing some coneflowers soon, pulled out of the archives with the K5....and the macro lens, have to take her out again soon, I forgot how wonderful she was...

The soul of India lives in its villages
~ Mahatma Gandhi
India comprises of more than 550,000 villages and 200 towns and cities whereby more than 73% of India lives in its villages. The above beautiful scenery is a common treat to your eyes as you drive along in costal Andhra.
In Indian history farmers were placed along side of Kings and priests. In new India and globalization their place is unknown. But everyone knows one thing that the world needs more food and it cannot be manufactured in a magical machine.
Global warming increasingly threatens both the annual monsoon rains essential to life on the subcontinent. This year has been good for the farmers in my home state.
India Cannot Afford Rural Failure

(probably won't be able to get the rest of this for a few days because of the weather. Then the Moon won't be there, so I'll no doubt start all over again)
Se davvero ce l'abbiamo, un'anima, be', allora dev'essere sicuramente qualcosa di molto simile al modo in cui vibrano le corde vocali quando si canta una vecchia canzone...
If we truly got a soul, well, then it must be something like the way vocal chords vibe when an old song is sung...

Souls Coaches, Olney
Olney, 15 January 2005
New to Wallace Arnold
The most numerous type of coach in the Souls fleet is the ex-Wallace Arnold B10M/Paramount, the company having acquired many of the E-UUB and F-DUG batches throughout the 1990s. Most are 3500s but this was a low-driver 3200 and was among the first Paramounts bought directly from their original owner in 1991. Withdrawal of this batch started a few years ago and this was one of the first to go, passing to Charlbury Travel in 2007.
