Reading through Job this week as part of NCC's LXVI reading plan and this is my take on Job's sorrow.
A sculpture of the Blessed Virgin Mary cradling her Son Jesus. Rose Land Park Cemetery. Royal Oak, Michigan. April 4th, 2013.
I took this picture on Memorial Day in Santa Cruz California, USA.
My camera was a Nikon N2000 with a f/1.4 50mm lens.
I was experimenting with some Kodachrome 64 film that I would only use again sparingly.
I do like it for it's color reproduction and detail.
"The road of sorrow is the road to heaven, but there are wells of refreshing water all along the route." C.H. Spurgeon
"....Can you live without tomorrow
Can you live without today
Questions full of sorrow
But the pain is for you to pay
You tell me nothing else but lies
Sweet sweet lullabies...."

The love, sorrow & passion shown here by Jesus and his beloved Mother Mary is beyond words! It speaks for itself...
This chap spoke to me for the whole afternoon. Basically told me his life story - which was a very sad one. He asked me to take his picture but refused to look at the camera. He wanted me to capture his pain.
