I was drawn to this tombstone because of the image on the face of it: a weeping woman. If I'm not mistaken this grave site marks the burial plot of a husband lost in war and a child. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the names inscribed on the side of it, which I'll have to remedy at some point in the future.

Feeling Introspective.

This is a picture of a rose that I took this summer. I took this picture because this summer I was a little obsessed with taking pictures of flowers and I just think that they look beautiful. At first the rose was white and pink but after I edited it, it's more red then anything. I like how I edited this because I think that it gives a picture a dark and sad feeling. It's not what you would think when you look as a rose.

This parish was established in 1882 in this church. It's still an active parish.

 

I wish I had ducked inside but I was already later than I wanted to be for work!

My mother once told me one crow symbolized sorrow.
