Oh... oh this cruel sun
Is daylight never done
Cruelty just begun
To make a shadow of everyone...
Souls bent over without a breeze
Blankets on burning trees
I am sick without disease
Nobility on it's knees...
And if the rain came... now
Would it wash us all away
On a wave of sorrow...
"Oh what care and sorrow..." hymn- Scatter sunshine
Tombstone at Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument.

For those of you who had to work, or otherwise couldn’t attend, Tuesday’s Cullman Law Enforcement Torch Run and Cullman Special Olympics, here are some photographs ahead of the transference of the flaming Special Olympics Torch from the steps of the Cullman County Courthouse to the track at Oliver Woodward Stadium on the campus of Cullman High School.
The torch entering the stadium officially kicked off this year's Cullman Special Olympics.
Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry led a posse of Cullman area law enforcement officers and prominent citizens on a longish run to reach about 400 waiting and excited Special Olympic athletes anxiously awaiting their and the Torch's arrival to kick off the games at the stadium.
You can also view the short speeches provided ahead of the Torch Run by Chaplains Larry Duke & Karen Cook, Lieutenant Rex Sorrow, Matt Gentry, Chairman Kenneth Walker and Mayor Max A. Townson here: cullmantoday.com/2016/05/04/special-olympics-and-cullman-...
