Sometimes what we can't see works very well. This night shot is an example of that. This image wouldn't improve if it were taken 40 minutes earlier. The effect here shows the image just as I imagined it would. Physical bridge not needed.

Sometimes it's worth it to look into old directories, and to see old photos with a fresh eye.. this is from a tour of Antelope Canyon in 2015
...what would be a good photo is spoilt. I should have taken another shot, the camera would then have focused. It got confused with pedestrians walking in front.

Sometimes I feel
Like I don't have a partner
Like my only friend
Is the city I live in
The city of angels
Lonely as I am
Together we cry.....

Lately I've been feeling like my laptop lunchbox isn't meeting my lunch requirements. Sometimes the 1 cup, 1 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/2 cup thing doesn't work for me. And it's hard to fit lunch and an afternoon snack in there.
I was interested in their new larger 2.0 system, but in order to get it in red and black, I'd have to spend $45 (which includes a carry bag and water bottle that I don't need). I'd also have to pay $13 for some multi-sized bento buddies with lids so I can have extra options for wet foods and giant salads. Throw in $11 for shipping and we're up to $70. As much as I enjoy their product, I just couldn't do it. I need to save my money for food!
I've tried taking 4-5 ziploc containers to work for my breakfast, lunch and snack needs, but there just isn't that much room in the office fridge.
So I did some online research. I came across the Fit & Fresh Lunch on the Go and it looked like it would meet my needs. They sell them locally at Bed Bath and Beyond and Target which is nice if I need more containers. I bought two of them so I can use 0-4 of the small containers in one large container. It also has an ice pack (that blue thing) which can go in the middle of the box or snap into the outer lid for giant salads. So I can just leave it in my office and it should stay fairly cool.
Oh, and they're only $9 a set.

A native species of Butterfly that still needs farther study and whose life history is not as well known as you would first think. (See bottom of page for unanswered questions). This is a short-lived butterfly with individuals only known to live 1 to 2 weeks. The Common Copper has 3 main variations throughout the country, but even these vary throughout their respective ranges. Whereas the Rauparaha's andGlade Coppers are both more consistent in their pattern and colouring. Despite so many variations the Common Copper has a constant double wing vein marking in the centre of the hindwing, unfortunately this sometimes requires catching the butterfly to get a close enough look to determine this, especially on the females, where the double wing vein marking is almost blurred into each other. Common Coppers have a greater tendency to travel then other coppers, which are not generally found more then 20-50 metres from the larval foodplant. All the coppers are all suffering from introduced wasp predation, especially paper wasps, as they are a good source of protein for the wasp's developing larvae.
