Something Old...my new sister-in-law gave me a family heirloom (which she also wore at her wedding). It was a beautiful pendant which she laced into the corset of my dress
Something New...I loved my dress, it fit like a glove and was so light and comfortable! The best part?...I got it for under $300!
Something Borrowed...one of my bridesmaids let me borrow her gorgeous necklace that was the finishing touch to the overall look!
Something Blue....I wore bright blue shoes to the ceremony, but ended up barefoot for the majority of the reception :)

My photoshoot was to go to a place where I have never been to and find objects and shoot them from a different angle with my camera near the ground
Trying something new - building a cryptex - a mechanical puzzle made famous by the book DaVinci Code.
I actually think that's a title of some Disney channel "song" or something. I don't remember where I got that idea from. But basically the past week and two days have been completely new to me.
I've been soda and caffeine free since last Saturday. That was my first pink lemonade Snapple that I've ever finished.
I don't like how my hand looks but whatever. And the soda in the background is symbolic, but I totally didn't mean for it to be there.
The bride wore a simply elegant dress and accessorized with statement making jewelry. She wore a one-of-a-kind bead embroidered cuff made from 9 mother-of-pearl cabochons. The cuff was embroidered with delica seed beads and embellished with over 250 Swarovski crystals in crystal AB and white opal.
This incredible one-of-a-kind cuff was created for the Etsy Beadweavers July Challenge "Here Comes the Bride...". Inspired by the items every bride needs on her wedding day (something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue), I created this cuff with a twist on the classic.
Approximate size: 7 inches long x 2 1/2 inches wide at the widest point

Just about finished making "something"...
Just need to do a lot of writting out and of course lots of pretty pictures at the end...
So glad my "slumpy" ways have gone away...
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to take the mickey or offend anyone here but if fishing is supposed to be so relaxing why do so many fishermen look like this? I think if I made faces like this whilst carrying out my hobby I would probably try something new! Seriously now though, he was a friendly guy and he was on the pier with his wife just after sunrise so I guess he must love fishing but it was this look of contemplation/anticipation/maybe even frustration that drew my eye to the scene as I was happily shooting (photographically) pelicans and hoping for dolphin breeches. Although the light was amazing I chose mono in order to lead the eye through the scene with out getting hooked up on colours.
A new hat, an old scarf, and a new jumper. Also a whole lot of winter knitwear!
This is another week where the photo I had in my head didn't match up to what I could take, so I've gone for a side profile rather than from the front.

Never seen much done from this bridge, and since the train was taking its sweet time I figured it was worth the stop. 800 dogs it down the new siding at River Junction waiting for traffic to clear ahead. 10/15/2012
Mocha decided it was her turn to do a challenge, so she came with me to look for a good place. We found it in a secondhand book shop.
Something old - the chair was the owner's grandmother's and she had it recovered.
Something new - the chair's upholstery and Mocha's silver boots. Her outfit is new to her as well, but she insisted that's her something blue!
Something borrowed - Mocha borrowed her sister Charlie's new Rob and Sioux bow.
Something blue - Mocha's outfit... and her beautiful eyes!

We are 15 days into our 21 day adventure in Europe. Each day is filled with "something new" and it's totally thrilling. Today we stood in line for over an hour to go into Anne Frank's house in Amsterdam. I fought back tears the entire time we toured her house. Our kids (ages 16, 13, and 10) were both saddened and captivated by the spirit of a child so close to their own age. As we were leaving the gift shop at the end of the tour, we came to the area you see in this image. There was a small donation box and guest book where you can leave your impressions. This is my oldest, who had been waiting to see Anne's house since third grade, recording her thoughts.
Also, I'm blowing the dust off my blog and have started to upload entries from our trip. We have had many adventures, so if you care to follow along, here is the link:
Something Old Follows shortly.
I believe these may be DMUs? I'm sure one of my rail enthusiast friends will confirm it for me....
Usei:
1x base fosca Ana Hickmann
2x Bracelete - Colorama
Bom final de sábado e bom domingo!
