Gabriela Birchal é uma estudante de artes na Escola de Belas Artes da UFMG assim como cosplayer. Ela começou no hobby em 2006 no Anime Festival BH e desde então ela confeccionou 15 fantasias dentre elas personagens de animes e principalmente de games. Já participou de algumas competições importantes no meio como o YCC 2009 (Yamato Cosplay Cup) e o WCS 2009 e 2010 (World Cosplay Summit), sendo que no último ela participou ao lado da Nathalia Lelis conseguindo a terceira colocação. O YCC é um concurso individual que seleciona cosplayers de todas as regiões do Brasil para competirem em uma grande final nacional, sendo que o ganhador desta tem o direito de participar da final internacional do YCC. Já o WCS é um concurso criado pela emissora Japonesa "TV Aichi" com o intuito de fazer uma grande competição entre vários países, dentre eles o Brasil. Esse concurso é em dupla e no Brasil temos uma etapa classificatória que juntas as melhores duplas do país na grande final nacional que acontece em São Paula e na qual elas conseguiram a terceira colocação em 2010. Ela possui galerias pra expor os seus cosplays tanto no Deviantart ( luna-ishtarcosplay.deviantart.com ), quanto no Cosplay.com ( www.cosplay.com/member/82853/ ). É muito fã de games, principalmente da nintendo e da franquia Zelda o que reflete na escolha de suas fantasias, além disso ela pratica dança e já trabalhou como ilustradora.

Radio found at Belleville, IL's finest antique mall. They also had hundreds upon hundreds of 8x10 black & white prints of buildings in Chicago, apparently taken over fifty years ago. Interiors, exteriors, fire escapes, back alleys...they looked like tax-assessment photos, in my totally untrained opinion. If anyone's interested in browsing or buying, I think Kirkbride Palace knows the name of the store.

About Quilling paper form of art

Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. The paper is wound around a quill to create a basic coil shape. The paper is then glued at the tip and the coil shaped, these shaped coils are arranged to form flowers, leaves, and various ornamental patterns similar to ironwork.

Well partner here are your fabric choices. The bottom 2 are Kona Coal and Ash Gray. I originally thought the orange and ochre would be a good contrast against the blues for you partner, but ordered the Pomegranate in Option B on a whim and think it works really well. Its coming off a bit red in the photo (taken indoors) but is more of a hot / cerise pink than red.

So tell me, which do you prefer?

I LOVE the one on the right, but I'm struggling with it being too big. Gonna try again and see if I can get it so the points don't get cut off in a 12" finished block.

And I know Ohio stars are really simple (especially in solids), but I'm kind of infatuated with them right now.

Good ol' Snake here has always been a fan favorite. With a combination of spammy-broken tilts, disjointed hitboxes in nearly all his attacks, super disportional weight (heck he weighs more than DEDEDE), and alot of camping with stuff that goes....BOOM.

I tried my best to capture all the little details that Snake likes to hide... Like his holster for example, or those weird white, dot thingys on his elbows.... I dunno.

I like him, he looks especially good compared to my old one.

Ashridge House is a beautiful property hidden away within the Ashridge Estate, surrounded by woodlands of oak and beech in the rolling Chiltern Hills. The majestic double helical solid oak and steel staircase exemplifies the grandeur of the property and reflects the breathtaking beauty of its natural surroundings.

The organic design comprises two curved staircases including oak strings, treads, risers, apron boards and handrails with a matching gallery. The lower stair has curved entry treads with 2D risers and is flared out with handrail volutes on both sides, giving an impression of natural elegance.

However, it is the balustrades of steel spindles flanking the stairs on both sides which make this staircase something truly special. The delicate curved lines of the painted steel are something of an optical illusion, creating the unique sensation that the balustrade is rippling in exquisite waves as you pass by.

The concept and design grew from a seed of an idea from the client in the form of a hand-drawn sketch and pullout from a magazine. Kevala Stars team then worked closely with the client and their architect to nurture this initial idea into the unique staircase that exists today. Retaining the original concept, yet interpreting the design to fit the feature into the available space, Kevala Stairs thus successfully fulfilled the client’s aspirations.

Situated on Sandbanks in Poole in a residential, two-story apartment, this solid oak staircase with cut strings and half landing is an example of one of our smaller projects.

Distinctive 40mm solid oak cut strings on both sides of the staircase support the oak treads and stainless steel rod risers, whilst toughened and laminated glass panelling with a stainless steel handrail create the balustrade.

Kevala Stairs also installed a glass gallery on the top landing, with glass panels attached to the strings and landing with stainless steel fixings.
