part of a former monastery in Cordoba, Andalusia. Even in winter the sunlight sometimes is that strong that everything is dipped either into strong light or deep shadow.

My new project of a photo a day in *ღღ* Entre Amigos *ღღ* Proyecto 365 Días
starts here on 1st October 2020 (primarily a reminder for me!)
No hables demasiado.
fertile in avventure e in esperienze.
[...]
negli empori fenici indugia e acquista
madreperle coralli ebano e ambre,
tutta merce fina, e anche profumi
penetranti d'ogni sorta, piu' profumi
inebrianti che puoi,
va in molte citta' egizie
impara una quantita' di cose dai dotti.
Sempre devi avere in mente Itaca –
Raggiungerla sia il tuo pensiero costante.
Soprattutto, pero', non affrettare il viaggio....[...]

O Sol was inspired by Be My Mannequin? and its new pose: Beautiful Undone! The moment I saw this pose, I was inspired and knew THIS was how I was going to show off The Sun and its solar system. Be sure to check out "Beautiful Undone" at Be My Mannequin? and try out all their other awesome poses.

I will show you what is glorious. The Sun is glorious. When He shineth in the clear sky, when He sitteth on His throne in the heavens, and looketh abroad over the earth, He is the most glorious and excellent object the eye can behold.
– John Keble
Leaving the eagles, I dodged north to Sol Duc Falls in Olympic National Park, then continued along the coast southward to make my way to Sea Ranch, California where I was meeting friends. I've attached a couple of images from Sol Duc and one from Cannon Beach where I was just barely lucky enough to reach in time for a gorgeous sunset.

Villa Niscemi - Palermo
Grazie a tutti!

Low autumn flow. Really roars in the spring.
"Sol Duc Falls is by most accounts one of the most photogenic waterfalls in Washington State and by proxy is one of the most sought out waterfalls by photographers - and chances are it ranks favorably nationwide in similar comparisons. Set within the thick temperate rain forest of the Olympic Mountains, the Sol Duc River creates one of the more uniquely shaped waterfalls in the northwest where it splits into as many as four channels - depending on the volume of the river - hurtling 37 feet off the side of a cliff into a narrow canyon, followed by an 11 foot flume-style drop as the river exits the canyon into a broader gorge below. The National Park Service has done an excellent job at constructing rustic viewpoints that provide many varied angles of perspective.
Prior to 1991 the accepted spelling of all features bearing this name was Soleduck (sometimes spelled Solduck as well). The Washington State Board of Geographic Names approved the change to Sol Duc because of its more accurate translation from the Quillayute word, meaning "magic waters", from which it derives. A legend tells of two dragons, Sol Duc and Elwha, who fought to a draw and were sealed in deep caverns. They wept hot tears at their confinement which furnishes the water for Olympic and Sol Duc Hot Springs."
