La Bergeronnette grise se nourrit de nombreux invertébrés aquatiques et terrestres. Elle capture des insectes sur le sol après une courte poursuite, mais aussi en volant. Elle poursuit sa proie avec un vol ondulant rapide, ou en voletant brièvement avant de la capturer. Sur le sol, elle chasse en marchant, en exploitant toutes sortes de surfaces depuis les routes jusqu’aux toits des maisons et autres endroits découverts.
Elle peut capturer des proies en courant et en donnant un coup de bec pour la saisir. Il lui arrive aussi de sauter en l’air pour happer un insecte volant.

The Yellow Wagtail feeds on numerous aquatic and terrestrial invertebrates. She captures insects on the ground after a short chase, but also while flying. She pursues her prey with a fast waving flight, or flutters briefly before capturing it. On the ground, she hunts while walking, exploiting all kinds of surfaces from the roads to the roofs of houses and other places discovered.
She can catch prey by running and pecking to grab it. It also happens to jump in the air to catch a flying insect.

"Sol Duc Falls is by most accounts one of the most photogenic waterfalls in Washington State and by proxy is one of the most sought out waterfalls by photographers - and chances are it ranks favorably nationwide in similar comparisons. Set within the thick temperate rain forest of the Olympic Mountains, the Sol Duc River creates one of the more uniquely shaped waterfalls in the northwest where it splits into as many as four channels - depending on the volume of the river - hurtling 37 feet off the side of a cliff into a narrow canyon, followed by an 11 foot flume-style drop as the river exits the canyon into a broader gorge below.
Prior to 1991 the accepted spelling of all features bearing this name was Soleduck (sometimes spelled Solduck as well). The Washington State Board of Geographic Names approved the change to Sol Duc because of its more accurate translation from the Quillayute word, meaning "magic waters", from which it derives. A legend tells of two dragons, Sol Duc and Elwha, who fought to a draw and were sealed in deep caverns. They wept hot tears at their confinement which furnishes the water for Olympic and Sol Duc Hot Springs."

La puerta de Sol o puerta del Sol es una puerta monumental ubicada en la muralla de la ciudad española de Plasencia,
en la provincia de Cáceres.
De estilo renacentista que tiene de notable el singular estudio de estereotomía en el despiece de sillares y en las dovelas, con el objetivo de conseguir un ángulo exacto hacia el orto, consiguiendo así que los rayos solares vayan directamente hacia el interior de la calle del Sol, lo que le da su peculiar forma en su cara de intramuros. En su cara de extramuros, sobre el arco de medio punto de acceso se ubica el escudo de los Reyes Católicos con dos escudos de Plasencia a sus lados.

Another colorful and glorious sunrise to welcome this Tuesday in Madrid.
I liked very nice the shapes, shades and colors these picturesque clouds offered before the Sun appeared over the horizon. It was a memorable moment indeed.

Otro colorido y glorioso amanecer para recibir este martes en Madrid.
Me gustaron mucho las formas, tonalidades y colores que ofrecían estas pintorescas nubes antes de que el Sol apareciera sobre el horizonte. De hecho, fue un momento memorable.
