Camera: Pentax 67

Lens: 105mm SMC Takumar F/2.4

Film: Kodak Portra 400 (220 medium format)

Lab-processed by Linhoff Photo, Edina, MN

This is a recent (mid December 2013) photograph taken on a very snowy evening in Minneapolis, MN. Somewhere between the exposure and the lab processing, something must have gone awry because the images were mostly dark and grainy. The effect was not anticipated, but appreciated =)

New Year's Eve 2003. A beautiful archival photo with a view of a snow-covered platform.

Fog, frost, and the peculiar light of sodium lamps - an atmosphere that almost doesn't exist today.

This isn't just a photo of the tracks, it's a photo of a time that will never return.

The first years of my photography, a Sony DSC-P52 no filters, no post-production, 2xAA, no tripod, just hands frozen from the snow. I remember walking with friends to the promenade, and the photo turned out better than I expected. It stayed with me forever.

...and may it be a magical time with Family and friends

Snowy evening in Denver

that's my front yard. and the road. and some of the driveway. & you can't see it, but it's still snowing.

makes me want to wake V up & take her out for snowman making. but i won't.

Went outside at dusk to see the colors of twilight. The front windows are halfway covered with snow, the light looks warm and inviting.

Ankara' da karlı bir kış akşamı

Fresh snow and crescent moon over church.

Mt Charleston, NV

It's dark and snowing.

Please hit L, it is a totally different experience.

Good luck riding it home. It's good it's a bike though, since Reykjavik is proud of its reputation as a city of heavy drinkers.

Such an inviting place to go to when it's snowing and you're cold.
