Katie enjoys a stylish new look from Gainesville barber, Dave Ratliff of Colen's Hairstyling. Dave likes to keep a light mood for his customers as you can tell from the smile on Katie's face. Cool triple mirror image of Dave on this one. He actually is really funny too! Had it not been for all the mirrors in the shop I probably would not have gotten this shot, I was on my way to another establishment when I got a text from Katie saying she saw me in the reflection as I made my way down the sidewalk. Dave didn't mind the company either hahaha. There's nothing that's more awkward than sitting in a weird silence for about 30min to an hour as a hairstylist with no personality goes at your head with a series of sharp tools.

The chains were fun to make (whilst watching "The Nutcracker"- i love ballets) but i kept reading the articles.

I'm getting my hair cut in about an hour - nothing too major because I love having long hair and am definately not going to get it all chopped off in a hurry!

Edit: I'm back! I didn't get too much taken off (well, is 2-3 inches much?) and my head feels a little lighter now. I'll post a photo of my new 'do' soon =)
