Sony Cyber shot DSC-W1 [Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* 38-114mm f/2.8-5.2.]
Note on front of card (edited out).
"Leutnant Keicke in the trench. 7 March 1916".
A decorated infantry officer peers towards enemy lines through a camouflaged periscope, perhaps looking for targets of opportunity?
"The Germans placed particular emphasis on night-sniping due to the level of effectiveness their marksmen had demonstrated with innovative techniques during the early months of the war." - The German Sniper 1914 - 19145. Peter R. Senich.
Killer Croc gets into his sniping position, unaware he is being watched.
Can you spot Batman in the shot? :P I'm not entirely satisfied with how this shot turned out and the DOF was too low so Batman blends with the background more than I wanted. Oh well, tell me what you guys think.
Also, recently I hit 200+ followers here on Flickr! :D Thanks so much everyone! I'm wondering if I should do a special 200 followers photo and if so what should the photo be of? If you got any suggestions, please leave a comment. :D

Details of things around the house. This scissors is no longer with us - my daughter took this onboard her domestic flight to Penang. It was confiscated by the airport security.

March wasn't all bad as at least Marks & Spencer was open. The trouble for them was the lingerie department upstairs was shut due to covid and a lot more than usual found it's way into the Winter Sale. Actually I tell a lie as the total cost of the items were closer to nine-quid than eight but I had already bought the red bra once at £8.00 and taken it back because it wasn't particularly comfortable for the price. But at about £1.85 it was certainly a snip next time around and especially as it was my size 38A. There were three bras and four lots of knickers but I can't remember what the white thing was and I've lost it. No doubt it will turn up again before long and I will be dead chufffed as I never knew I had got it. Well I could have kep't the red bra but by taking it back and buying it again later with everything else I made a huge saving.
Painted door near Teen Diwarja in Ahmedabad's Old City.
This has got to be my favourite door in the whole of Ahmedabad. Worth getting up early or visiting the market on holidays when the shops are closed – which is the only time you can catch a glimpse of it/ Photographed earlier here.
If you've noticed that I've not been around much over the last several days, there is a reason (or at least an excuse). Thursday the man took one for the team and got himself fixed. It wasn't too bad at all for me, but he's been a bit grumpy about things.
Because I like to share, here are the highlights:
-I've discovered that we are very immature. We laughed through the entire video that we had to watch at the consultation.
-Then I giggled like a school girl when the doc asked to examine the balls. I could not help it. The awkwardness was too funny.
-I've recently learned that I officially have partial ownership of my husband's balls. Really. I had to sign the consent form before the procedure could be done.
-My husband does not know how to put on a paper gown. With the addition of the meds, it was quite comical. Unfortunately, he would not allow me to snap a photo:(
-We never really lose the small child impulse to blurt out whatever pops into our heads. We just learn to set up a mental checkpoint. This vanishes completely when you are drugged.
-I realized this when my husband leaned towards me in the crowded waiting room and announced that everyone in the office was either young or really old. "Clearly the young guys were only there for maybe one of two things". I slumped down in the chair and hid behind my C++ book.
-He chatted with the doctor about beer the entire time. He told me in the car that he still had more to say, but it was time to go.
-And on a more serious note, we are both relieved that this is done. We have had our babies. The family feels complete. It's time to move on to other things.
r.i.p. little dudes.

More or less taken from my car, as the snipe was looking for food on the pond about 15m away from me.
Birds in general look far less frightened by cars than by a human shape ..
