We had a fruits and snacks bar during a workshop I attended.

I got the 2-piece snack, white meat. There was a breast and 2 wings, French fries, a packet of Texas Pete, and a couple things of ketchup. All very hot. Wonderful..

If there is a traditional Turkish food item that doesn't leave any room for polarized opinions neither doubt about having the second helping of it it would definitely be sigara böreği, cigar-shaped pastry of paper-thin dough, yufka, stuffed with cheese.

On a surprisingly chilly day in March, I defrosted taiyaki from the freezer and made a pot of coffee :-). Taiyaki is a fish-shaped Japanese cake most often filled with red bean paste. Unfortunately, since I bought these at the Korean grocery store, they were the Korean version (bungeoppang) and somehow tasted just slightly different...
