At Hang Sung Sot / Sung Sot Cave island in Vinh Ha Long / Vịnh Hạ Long / Halong Bay
Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage SIte: "Ha Long Bay, in the Gulf of Tonkin, includes some 1,600 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Because of their precipitous nature, most of the islands are uninhabited and unaffected by a human presence. The site's outstanding scenic beauty is complemented by its great biological interest." Snack or lunch, I don't remember; either way it was good arch shade with a great canyon view.

Naomi giving Bonkers some of his favorite snacks after he drank some water after his seizures. Bonkers was so enthusiastic that he bit Naomi's hand (not seriously) trying to eat as quickly as possible.
Nags Head, North Carolina
A weekend at the stunning NC Outer Banks was enough to relax and recharge me. On Saturday we just sat at the the Nags Head beach, playing in the water and watching the wildlife. This industrious willet was busy for an entire hour looking for mole crabs to snack on. It was an absolutely successful hunt as I quickly lost count on its trophies.

My friend MP is an extraordinarily talented baker and for Christmas she gave me a giant box of all kinds of cookies and these (gasp!) chocolate covered cherries.
She also made me my very own Monster to help me eat them.
Neither the Monster nor the cookies have left my side since yesterday.
Thanks MP!!! I love them!

My dad got two big boxes filled with japanese snack foods from a Japanese client (i'll probably post a photo of the boxes later, if they look decent), and this was the one that caught my eye first. Probably because of that cute little chick on the front of the packaging :3
Inside it was this sweet, sugary bread shaped a bit like a shoe.. or maybe a chick :b
It was quite good, actually :3 Not the best thing ever, but it was definitely fun wondering what it was and then finally carefully peeling off the packaging to reveal the lump of sweet snack cake inside.
And, yeah, the lighting is awful >< Cause the sun went away and the sky was bleh and yeah T_To I had no artificial light available when I took this (actually, i think I did <_<! i just didn't bother to look for it), so yeah T_To excuse the horrible lighting.

Or maybe something more filling? This one at Ol' D's Soda Shop & Restaurant, 105 W Jackson Ave, Harlingen, TX. Currently reinstalling one of the original soda fountains (remember the pharmacy soda fountain from the 1940's?). Lots of collectables and antiques to admire inside too!
This squirrel was happily enjoying his snack when I raised my camera to take a picture of him... and he turned his back on me! I stood there for a few minutes thinking he might turn back around, but he refused to budge. I finally had to sneak around in front of him to get this shot!
We could order snacks via app on phone then pick up safely at the Candy station! You can see our silly elves got a snack ;D
Grayson's got a great appetite for all food. This was snack before bottle and bed. Shot for Compositionally Challenged Weekly theme - Portrait orientation.

It’s all sugar, folks.
Sometimes when the wrapper says “Sugarless” then beware. They probably used Maltodextrin to sweeten the product. To we who watch their glycemic index, maltodextrin is worse than sugar.
Go find an apple. Natural fructose is about as harmless as you can get in a sweetner.
Walnuts! Yum!

We found the walnuts on a country walk, they're a wonderful snack but once I start eating them it's hard to stop.
