She heard of some monkeys that looked like they needed help.

How do you like the tea pot's new company?

The little wooden bucket is from our visit nelson's parent's place earlier this year. It's hand made by a local wood craft's man. Instead of planting them directly in the bucket, the succulents are planted in a plastic container I found that fits in the bucket snugly :)

I thought I was getting a good shot of the fungi on the right.

I was surprised to find a most interesting insect on left!

In jedem Kreuz steckt Liebe :-)

"It's the little things in life that gives you a joy."

Well, things that are important to me, is when people take time for me, but I was not able to show you this as a photo. I create images with small cross stitches , what take a lot of time. It makes me happy and I hope the recipient Iike it as well. In each cross is love :-)

I borrowed this from my friend cause it's cute...

The Compositionally Challenged group has chosen Small things for Week 27 in 2024.

It's time. Kalle is at the airport and very excited before his first flight. Previously, the largest vehicle that he ever saw was a Lego truck with his work at the Lego gas station. It's starting soon. 4 hours from Duesseldorf to Lanzarote.

A Fairly Small Community

Fairies have appeared in folklore for centuries and can be found in the traditional stories of many cultures around the world.

While modern fairies are often portrayed as tiny winged beings living among flowers and mushrooms, older folklore described them in many different ways—sometimes helpful, sometimes mischievous, and occasionally both at the same time!

Kalle is totally fascinated with flying. He is looks the whole flight through the windowt. Just as the Stewadessen bring the free raisin bun (yes that´s all on a middle distance flight) he can look away.

It's not rocket science

photograph of ant on a waratah flower, which is the floral emblem of New South Wales, Australia .. added two other photographs .. a close-up of some roots in water & a spider's web .. then used flaming pear flood filter to get the water look .. adjustment layer in colour balance .. another adjustment layer in curves, blending mode soft light ..

Not sure if the above is correct but was down there doing some macro shots for something different.

a walnut heart for all those that feast Happy Valentine's...

and for those who don't feast, just enjoy what the eye catches in unexpected places :)

There's a section of sidewalk in my neighborhood where a small dog has left some footprints in the concrete. They always make me smile when I see them.

We've had a bit of rain lately, and the little tracks are full of moss.

Friend was studying to be upholsterer and he made this teddy from scrap materials to my son.
